Bio: Dr. Finesilver here is another tragic story of the FIP and how it used and abused it’s members, with many simply ending their own lives to cease the suffering and silence the demons. Others ended up addicted to drugs, and alcohol while a few tossed themselves head first into their work and family in hopes to quell the beast within. Though in many cases the demons would overcome even the most determined and through their pain and anger the nation would be forced to endure their wrath. Those within the FIP are normally found deep within the rebellion and are the first to draw their pistols, or swing with a clenched fist at anyone that dares to question freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness….now I honestly don’t blame these men, they have sacrificed and been sacrificed in the name of Democracy, Liberty and Freedom; they might simply be living on the edge but for the FIP that’s all they have left, they suffered and died for all of us to remain free and what have we done but spit in their face’s.
Now for the tale of Dr. Sherman Finesilver’s long lost brother that really hasn’t been all that lost, Francis here works within the Storm Riders and has been for quite sometime. How we are just learning of this man is simple, once his FIP records went public so did the knowledge that Francis still lives and he has shed his beaten and battered self to emerge a new man. The Storm Riders call him Godzilla do to his fondness for the movie series, though I fell it fits more the sidearm he carries and the sheer violent nature of this man.
Though before I tell you about the beast known as Godzilla or as he is also known Prime, we must first go back a long way in time. Francis here would join the FIP program only a few years after his big brother would and end up deep within the Civil War unknowingly fighting within the same company as his brother. Francis would join the US Calvary on March 15th, 1862 and he would end up forgotten and forsaken by the turn of the century and become just another brick in the wall. Francis would end up gravely wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg yet do to the extreme nature of the FIP serum and some daring doctors Prime here would survive his injuries and rise once again to fight for the Union. His injuries are far to graphic and great for me to list here, I understand the morbid curiosity that the FIP bring forth; though out of respect to the soldiers and their families I won’t force them to relive these painful memories.
Francis here would serve voluntary from 1860 – 1900 and from 1900 – 2010 conscripted within the US Military, he would eventually be so severely injured during the War in Iraq in 2010 that he would be forced to retire and leave the military life behind. One can say that if he was forced than he should have been rejoiced to leave the service, well sadly for many of the FIP this was a fate worse than death. For many they had become so indoctrinated into the military life that it was all they knew and understood. They had become true slaves to there masters in Washington DC and the thought of forced retirement was terrifying, they would rather die a soldiers death than walk in the shoes of a civilian. For many they had heard the stories of those that retired and how they suffered greatly and how they would normally dress themselves up in their dress uniform, put the rope around their own neck and step off the chair for their final drop.
This mixed with the decades or more for some of active service, war and deployment they simply couldn’t fathom life outside the military. Now life inside was no picnic and for Francis this rings true, they would be abused, experimented on and neglected while stateside or out of a war or conflict. Once the fighting started the FIP would be the first to be deployed and thrust into the maw of hell, their wounds poorly cared for, their lives sacrificed and their minds shattered from what they saw. The life of an FIP soldier was one of hell and they travelled that road every single day, for many this simply shattered their will and kept them complacent while others bucked the system to enforce change and bring an end to the program.
Francis here would be one of those that lived in fear of the thought of leaving the military and entering the civilian world. While others like Rutherford, Truman, Hilliard, Belmont, W. Palpatine, R. Jamestown, and Barton Sr would make waves along with others like the Little Brothers, and McCain thousands of other FIP soldiers simply fell in line and became shells of their former selves. Prime here would be abused, forced to endure the worst treatments and thrust back into the lions den time and time again. He would work as a Drill Instructor during his off time….aka peace time, and simply pray for a quick and painless death in battle. He didn’t want to be forced to endure the pain and suffering of his injuries and the thought of a civilian life was haunting him; he watched what happened to his brother and many of his friends within the program after they were forced into the civilian world.
So on June 6th 2010 during an engagement in Iraq Francis’s would begin his life as a civilian after suffering grave injures as he was far to beaten down to be cleared for active duty and in a flash his usefulness to the US Army was over and he had been forever benched. Francis reports that as he laid in the hospital bed, he was told the news from a attending doctor that he would be discharged from the military shortly; Francis simply asked the doctor to kill him and spare him the torment of civilian life. Needless to say Francis didn’t get his wish on that day, and he simply would be unable to take his own life; though not for the lack of trying, Francis reports he would attempt suicide numerous times and each time would end the same way….by happenstance someone would show up to stop him or get his limp body to medical treatment.
Eventually Francis would undergo treatment for his suicidal thoughts and actions, though his addictions would be another outlet for him and as the pain coursed through his mind and body he would further self medicate and this would lead to further suicidal thoughts. Sadly the doctors missed this part and it would take Francis being locked up for ten years for Vehicular Manslaughter when he would take the life of the Jones family when he slammed into there minivan head on while driving drunk.
