Bio: Locomotive earned his name for his love of trains, his last name and the huge tattoo sleeve he has on his right arm that depicts the history of the rails. This man has seen the worst of the worst and was the only surviving member of his platoon after the attack on the Korean military compound and has served honourably ever since with the Minutemen and Sons of Liberty (Freedom Patriots). Though for Locomotive he has always been troubled and haunted by the sights and sounds of those days in the jungles of Korea, he never fully got over all the loss and the dagger that his countrymen plunged deep into his back. He accepted the offer to fight with the Sons of Liberty (Freedom Patriots) though his heart was no longer in the fight and he was slipping away slowly into the bottle and any other chemical to help him cope with everything he had seen and done.

This man eventually cracked and couldn’t take the stress of war any more and had to just turn his back and walk away from everything in hopes to redeem his wayward soul and deal with the nightmares and damage to his soul. Locomotive just walked away own night leaving everything but his uniform behind and the only reason he took that was because he had no civilian attire. From the records I can locate on his whereabouts he wondered aimlessly for many days till he rolled into a small town in Oklahoma on the UCAS side of the line. This is where the story of the Locomotive gets kinda depressing, this once brave and noble soldier now broken and weary with addiction just wondered into a local shelter looking for a simple meal and some clean clothing. What he found was disdain and resentment from the locals and the people that where supposed to help him, for he wore the wrong flag on his shoulder and the people in this town no longer respected Old Glory nor recognised the United States of America, they were sold and sworn UCAS citizens and to them Locomotive was nothing but a traitor and no better then a Confederate.
He was run out of town by the local sheriffs office and this troubled man, just fell deeper into his shattered shell of depression and wondered off and hitched a ride on the rails, he carried little as to where he was going. He just knew he had to leave, little did he know that he was on an express cargo train heading for Seattle and he would be the only other Minutemen to arrive in the Emerald City prior to the battle. By the time he arrived in Seattle he hadn’t eaten in days, and his canteen was bone dry. Locomotive was needing help and he was weary of heading to a shelter out of the fear of the way he was treated the last time.
For this man Seattle was overwhelming as he grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and has only ever been in a city a few times in his adult life, most of the time he was being shot at. Locomotive eventually found his way to a small church in the Bowery district, he entered the church nervously and was taken by surprise as he was welcomed in with open arms by a minister a few years older then himself a man a named Reverend Edmund Crane. He was given a place to rest his weary head, a shower, clean clothing and a good meal and drink. The good Reverend never asked any questions and told Locomotive he was welcome to stay as long as he needed and his office door was always open to him if he needed to talk as Edmund could feel that there was something deep and troubling within him.
Locomotive stayed at the church for a handful of years, as he was working on trying to establish himself back into the civilian world. During this time, the two men said barely anything to each other, Locomotive feeling obligated attended the Sunday Service though the words of scripture just fell on deaf ears with Locomotive as he was lost within the trauma of his shattered mind. It was during this time that he meet the women who would become his wife and bare his children, and it was meeting her and desiring to marry her that he knew he had to change his life for the better. Though again for Locomotive this was only a temporary fix to his personal nightmare. He landed a job as a tax advisor at one of those chain stores that pop up in the malls and he was able to scrap together the money to afford an apartment in the Bowery and purchase a simple ring. He took this women out to a nice dinner spending the last of his saved funds, he then took to one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She said yes and the two where married within the year, for Locomotive everything seemed to be going fine. He was married, he had his first child on the way, he was gainfully employed and he should have been happy but the demons of his past kept tormenting him at night. He kept reliving the war, he began to be racked by guilt as he was hearing of the arrests and forced to watch the executions of his men and other Patriots. His wife was a staunch supporter of the United Canadian American States and was proud of the country and would watch the executions and make disparaging remarks as Locomotive sat and watched his friends and comrades meet there untimely end at the hands of the hangman.
This forced him deeper into the bottle and deeper into his depression, as he couldn’t fathom who ignorant the citizens had become and even the women he loved so deeply would want to see her husband hang if she found out who he was. Locomotive tried as hard as he could to but everything behind him and play house with the women he could no longer look in the eye, for she had become everything he feared, everything he hated and everything that he shed blood to stop. There marriage was in trouble but the birth of his son, seemed to have settled his wife down and he was able to focus on raising his son and work like a typical husband. He just put everything behind him and allowed himself to be swallowed by his work, though when he found out he was going to be a father again he knew he would have to move out of the Bowery and enter the suburbs for his small apartment didn’t have the room for his growing family.
Locomotive figured he would just drown himself into his job, and working on the house putting everything behind him. So he bought a small fixer upper in the suburbs ad moved his growing family into a safer district. Little did he know that all this did was bring his wife closer to people that shared her values and she would get even more involved with other house wives and the gossiping would commence. Locomotive as well ran into serious issues with the other husbands, many of witch younger then he was, though had served in the UCAS military and fought against the Minutemen, Devil Dogs, Rough Riders and many of the Sons of the True Confederacy. This was very troubling for the Locomotive since these men where speaking about his friends and allies like they where nothing more then terrorists and traitors. Then he got told that they caught yet another former Minutemen. A young Private named Eric Winters was going to be hung in two days and they where all going to gather for a celebration to watch the hanging of this poor young man. Locomotive just stood their in horror, he knew this young man, he had rescued Private Winters and spared his life taking a bullet in the shoulder for his efforts. He couldn’t believe that this poor young man was going to hanged and these jack assess where happy about it.
When the night came for the gathering Locomotive but his children to bed early and sat silently in his chair getting lost in his bottle of rum. He couldn’t stomach the events that were about to transpire and the way the people in the room where acting. They were treating this hanging like it was a prize fight, taking bets on how many times he would twitch or would his head pop off. Locomotive just sat there drinking in silence and lost in his thoughts about the poor young man who was about to die for an unjust reason and the only thing he was guilty off was surviving Korea. As they marched Private Winters onto the gallows the room erupted into cheers and drunken revelry. Locomotive just stood up, and left the room he went to to the bedroom packed a bag, kissed his children good bye and left the house and drove out of Seattle heading for parts unknown.
For the remainder of his time away, Locomotive worked odds and ends and lived out of motels and hotels drowning himself deeper into the bottle and medication to ease his troubled mind. He even at one point contemplated suicide, he say in his motel room with his loaded pistol in one hand and a bottle of rum in the other. He already had prepared his suicide note and had the barrel of his pistol in his mouth with his finger on the trigger, at that point he heard Snoopy’s pirated broadcast about the war in Seattle and how the battle might have been victorious though the war was long from over. The words of Waldo where broadcast over the broadcast followed by the message from Colonial, Locomotives hand began shaking and he dropped his pistol and began to break down in tears. He had finally come full circle and his life was about to change again.
Locomotive picked himself up off the floor, cleaned himself up and placed his uniform back on for the first time since he arrived in Seattle all those years prior. He packed his gear, flushed the note, grabbed his bottle, lit a cigarette took a long drag as he got into his car. he gazed upon the picture of his children kissed his two fingers placed it on the photo saying “This is for you.” and he drove back to Seattle to stand with his fellow Minutemen. He knows his children are know grown, but he hopes he will not have to meet them again through the cold iron of the sight of his riffle, Locomotive has returned where he belongs and he is once again with his family and his brothers in arms, the Minutemen will stand united till their last dying breath.
                                                                                                                                                      Page Written by: Snoopy
