Bio: The Curator is one of those men that many have heard of him, but can’t ever seem to recall any information about him either. This man hails from England and was once a part of the nobility before the War of the Nobel’s and fled to America to spare his neck from the chopping block of his frustrated and angered subjects. This man has been within the shadow world ever since and has made a huge impact on the way the shadows operate, though many blame his generation for the problems now plaguing the runners of today. Though the Curator is not fully to blame as he is but just one man, and his generation has been through many trying situations that have set them apart from those that came before them.
The best way to describe the Curator is to compare him to the man known as John Ripley for the Curator is a master hermetic magi and as well a physical adept and his circle is completely unknown and estimated to be off the charts and he as well has created his own signature spell that should not be and should officially worry anyone with any sort of common sense. The Curator has truly become a master of Gravity himself and his magic proves this as I have heard that if he wanted to he could bring an end to this world do to his magical prowess. The Curator is also part of a secret order of information seekers known as the Library that seems to have strong connections to the Human Resistance Movement. As the Curator and John Ripley have both been scene conversing on a number of occasions. Knowing the Big R this is not a casual acquaintance and these two masters are up to something big and whatever it is it won’t be good for any law abiding citizen and definitely bad for the elven people.
Though this disproves the theory that the British and Germans can’t get along and are always secretly working against each other. For the Curator being British Nobility and Ripley being German Royalty means that these two nations are up to no good well I might be jumping the shark a little here. Though we can verify that the Library and the Human Resistance Movement are sharing the same agenda and this means that we have more racists out there bent on the genocide of the elven people. Though what is scary is that if the Curator and Ripley teamed up and combined their magical prowess and knowledge they could hold the world hostage. Between the master of magnetism and the master of gravity their isn’t anything these men can’t accomplish. Lucky for us that Ripley is in Germany and the Curator is normally in the Americas or over in England fighting the rebels there.
Well this means that we have been left to deal with the man known as the Curator as he has ravaged the Americas on his quest for knowledge and rendering a vast majority of known security protocols obsolete. This man has personally brought down many corporations and has assaulted the federal government on numerous occasions and has become such a liability that there are very few employers willing to hire this magician or any of his ilk claiming the unprofessional nature of the runners and their steep demands have made the art of shadowrunning a archaic profession when they can employ mercenaries for half the price. Not that the Curator is not to free form sin here, though he is not totally to blame for his actions and the actions of others of his craft. Once you enter the realm of being a legend and have officially crossed the generation gap, you should be able to fetch a higher price and you should be able to demand certain fee’s to be covered. Though what they do on the operation is another factor, when a corporation employees runners to perform a certain task, they expect that task to be completed and no other strikes or thefts to be added on to increase the overall profit margin. These runners play by their own rules and don’t seem to care who they double cross, kill or manipulate and when for them it’s all about the bottom dollar. They leave a serious bad taste in the mouths of those that are in the need of their services, you might be able to hire no one better then the Curator, but you must weigh the risks to the rewards and for anyone that was involved in the legendary Titanic operation can really trust that you are not going to double crossed numerous times.
This man is on a quest for wealth and knowledge and this means that sending him into a corporate headquarters or government instillation can be very tricky. Also he is a known genius and extremely street smart, this means that he might know more about the target then the employers know and he will hold those cards close to his chest, so it’s best to hire this man for physical extractions and wet work where no information or data can be garnered. Otherwise you are risking everything and the risks far out way the rewards when it comes to employing the Curator, he has been in operation as a freelancer since the late 2040’s and has never once worked with or on a team. This man is a keeper of the Library and that seems to be all the back up he ever needs, he totally distrusts all other runners of his generation and beyond and can only ever be seen working with John Ripley or a few others of the Lost Generation or Founding Fathers. The only runners of his generation he does work with are Quickdraw, Edge and Arrow and even this is questionable and this was only during the Titanic Operation that was comprised of Founders, Lost Generation and Next Gen runners.
So as for the Curator it seems that he has set a precedent that many Mr. Johnson’s today still adhere to and this is not good for the new runners on the street today. He doesn’t seem to care about anything that doesn’t involve to pursuit of knowledge and the gathering of intelligence. This runner is still very active today and has been all over the world wit his work and has even stuck his nose into the situation going on in England and sided with the Governor on a number of occasions. So one can assume that the Curators Nobel status has been restored and he will soon become even more of an advisory then he already is. Remember readers this man has sided with the Freedom Patriots and he is well connected to the Human Resistance Movement and not to mention his magical prowess and mystical control over gravity itself makes the Curator a serious threat and advisory. He is unpredictable and not without sin, so it is best to avoid him at all costs and to alert the proper authorities of his presence so they won’t be caught off guard when he arrives on the scene. The Curator is a terrorist and a criminal and he needs to stopped before he causes any more damage to the law abiding and with a throw of the dice he decides the fate of the UCAS.
