Bio: Take Two….it’s time for Ditto to be exposed the ghost of the New Breed has been lurking deep within the shadows hunting and stalking his prey ever since he slipped away from the limelight. Ditto was one of the first New Breeders to hit the streets back in 2065 though he might date back to 2062 truly classifying him as one of the first of the Lost Children though for all actual classifications he can be considered a New Breeder. Ditto is a specialised Street Samurai that would not have an easy life nor early career, seeing that he would enter the scene during the War in the Shadows and would have to fend off the Dreamers and the Next Generation runners almost nightly as the war raged on around him. Being a runner during the 2060’s was not an easy and many would perish before they would have any impact on the age.
For Ditto he learned a valuable and brutal lesson early in his career that the corporations and governments couldn’t be trusted and any single operation could be one’s last, he as well learned that you need to keep your friends close but your enemies closer during those early days. Ditto would have to keep a very close eye on those that he worked with and never take the Johnson’s word as law; this would end up saving him numerous times when the people he was paired up would attempt to double cross the Johnson, turn on Ditto as they considered him to be a worthy target or even just botch the job before it started; Ditto would have to think quick and react prior to actually thinking and thanks to his cyber he was able to multitask and save both his life and reputation.
This is how he would earn his handle of Ditto, seeing that many of the Next Generation would see him as a direct link to some of the greats of their generation and even the founding fathers age. He might have been young, but Ditto would be far more mature and experienced then he let on, this would come to push his reputation to the stratosphere. Ditto would end up following the same guidelines of some of the greats like Iceman, Mortician, Ash, even following in the teachings of the mighty Quickdraw and Switch Doctor. The greats would see Ditto as a prime example of what a runner should be and eventually he would be welcomed into their hallowed halls. Though it would be his close friend Fraggle that would make sure Ditto stayed alive and well trained, this would even garner an invitation into the legendary Mariners (Notice I said Mariners and not Wind Runners).
Ditto would accept the invitation and become the only New Breeder to proudly wear the Mariners cap, though this was both a curse and blessing, for Ditto he had been accepted and welcomed into a brotherhood, though for the Dreamers they now thought he was a famed Net Generation runner that needed to be killed. Where Ditto would stand as the link between the generations and hopefully one day prove that the New Breeders could be just as reliable and competent as any veteran runner. Ditto might not have any legendary operations under his belt like those of his predecessors, but this is only do to the lack of big time jobs during his age, though Ditto would eventually make a name for himself during both of the recent attacks on Seattle.
Though during his tenure within the shadows Ditto has performed nearly flawlessly himself and has helped bridge the gap between generations, he would be one of the only New Breeders to fully take action during the Shadow War and side against the Dreamers. He would also work directly with his friend Fraggle on the investigation of Exodus’s murder, it would be his unique styling and ability to infiltrate the hangouts of the New Breeders as well being able to intimidate and handle the Dreamers with ease that he would help Fraggle gain the valuable information needed to eventually bring to justice their friends murders. Ditto and Fraggle might have not seen eye to eye on the war and the way he was handling the Dreamers, but this didn’t change the fact that Ditto was raised by Exodus ever since he was a young boy after Ditto became an orphan during a gang war.
Now as the years progressed Ditto would see that his time was coming to a close as his reputation would continue to grow, Ditto was already living the dream and the shadows were just a bloody reminder of his past. He knew that he needed to do as the elders prophesied and slip deeper into the shadows to make room for those that would come after him, seeing that Ditto had bridged the gap, was welcomed into the Mariners and spilled gallons of blood in the name of the runners. He had rapidly exceeded his generational standing and Ditto knew that it was time to fade away, so some  point during 2071 he would just walk away from all the bloodshed and leave the Bloody Legacy behind him. Though it would seem that the universe wasn’t done with Ditto and he would have to once again return to the streets, he would have to take up arms against the invading UCAS forces and defend his city, his people and his way of life.
Ditto has fully returned to the streets and it appears the old saying “Mariner For Life” stands true, he is once again wearing the cap of his old team and hunting those that are trying to usurp freedom and liberty. They say what is old will be new again and it seems that with the re-uniting of the Wind Runners and Unknown Soldiers as Helix; it has brought with it the reformation of the Mariners, this I find to be interesting seeing that Seattle currently needs its hero’s of old and with the return of the Wolf Pack, Old Guard, Dirty Dozen, Brothers Grimm and now the Mariners it might be hailing in a new age, one of progress and one of unity within the shadows. The wars are over for them, but the current political age has dawned in a new conflict and we need the runners now more than ever, and with new teams like the Devil’s Rejects, and the Harbingers as well as old timer team the Devil Rats returning Seattle is primed and ready to welcome in a new age; will it be the Bloody days of Old Seattle or will it be the dawn of a new age where these runners stand as are defenders, only time will tell and this time I will stand behind the legends of the streets.
