Bio: Well before I start this article about the master of chaos, death and war known simply as Set named after the Egyptian God of the same aspects; I will state that I am only writing this article out of necessity and the need to alert the people about this beast that has been wandering the lands for many a decade. He is a member of the Brotherhood of Mercenaries and has been partnered with this band of mercenary soldiers since the earliest days and would be one of the founding members alongside his close friend and ally Crash; both men would simply pass the torch of leadership to Tugboat and Mr. Cadillac but yet any friend of Crashes is someone that needs to be watched carefully and cautiously. Set himself is a legendary commander that has trained some of the most fierce generals the world has ever seen, and not caring where they wondered off to; he has personally trained the likes of Alexander, Checkmate, Holocaust, Aries, many of the Confederate and Patriot Generals as well as a handful of the US and British generals that would become known as the enemy of the rebels. Even the mighty King of England owes his success to the teachings of Set; if their is one man that revels in the chaos of his protegees it’s this mercenary; through his teachings he keeps the fires of war burning and thus keeps the money rolling into the coffers of the Brotherhood.

Set is not only a total mastermind that is on par with the Ghost, Coroner and Governor he is as well a legend in the arts of battle and one that has no equals; he has trained many in the lost and secret arts of combat but even with their knowledge none of them have ever been able to best their master, Checkmate, Moray, Anchor, Reaper and Piper have all been trained by this master as well as many of the Brothers Grimm and Son’s of Odin have been tutored by the likes of Set and even these men bow down to the likes that is Set. They all have learned to respect their trainer and the man that has mastered the arts of war and chaos, a man that revels in the wave of sorrow that is harvested in his wake; Set has even trained both Azrael and Wake in their special gifts and talents and has stared down the mighty Plymouth and his horde alone when the Necromancer would make a military movement against Holocaust and his men within Brazil. Set was able to convince the Necromancer to return to Jamaica and ignore Brazil, this has latter proved to have been a worthy lesson since Holocaust has aligned himself with Plymouth to fight against the Aztec military but if it wasn’t for the intimidating and powerful presence of Set things might have been different and history would have written itself in a different manner.

The tales of Set ca be traced through the books of history and many say that the name is the same but the man has changed through the ages; though with the verification that genetic immortality might be far older than we have thought and the legends of the Fountain of Youth and Holy Grail it could be that this is the same man that has been written throughout history fighting in every major conflict and spilling blood for his enjoyment and his weight in gold. Set is a master tactician and for every pupil of his that has gone on to become a legend in their own right, their are those that would become known as the villains and work towards the destruction of the free world. Remember Set revels within Chaos, Temptation and the Anarchy that is caused through war, his one pupil has recently surfaced and become a serious problem for everyone from the rebels to the civilised governments. The man that is only known as Victor Salazar was one of the last pupils of Set and he has taken the teachings and used them to further the course of evil through his terrorist cell known as Free Bird; Set doesn’t seem at all concerned that Salazar has corrupted his teachings and only seems to be content that it will mean further destruction, further corruption and further war witch in conclusion means more money and power for this already legendary mercenary.

Where Set came from is unknown, when he was born is unknown and well basically anything before he joining of the Brotherhood of Mercenaries and Presidents Men is either unknown or just historical legend. He has refused every offer for an interview and has sent any journalist that gets to close to him back in a bag, he moves with precise speed and grace and his speed with his blade is invisible to the naked eye; even the mighty Scourge seems like a sloth to this man and many of the fastest gunslingers can’t out draw this man before he is on top of them. Set’s pattern seems to be that he is fighting for the resistance and for the rebellion but yet he has trained and unleashed many of the enemies of these orders thus only to further the development of war and keep the fires burning bright into the night. Some say that Set has the power to bring an end this bloody conflict and firmly declare a winning side, though for a mercenary and one who relishes in chaos where is the fun in that. Though according to reports in Philadelphia and the sitting of Set entering multiple UCAS military camps; it can be decreed that he has chosen a side and has finally walked away from his let it burn philosophy. Again this is speculation and not grounded on any actual verified fact, it seems that something has set him off and forced his hand directly into the conflict directly; some say that that is the the destruction of Detroit, the British Invasion, or raping of the people at the hands of the UCAS; others believe that their is a far more sinister reason Set has gotten fully involved and thats to deal with Free Bird or even that one of his children have become a casualty to a former pupil and now Set has thrown his very dangerous gauntlet into the ring and stepped out of the shadows.

This once Presidents Man that the Freedom Task Force wouldn’t even dare to hunt out of true fear, would walk into the Brotherhood to continue his work, his training and his preparations for something far bigger than anyone man could ever predict, this man would create the Brotherhood with his long time friend Crash and strong arm General Buckley into commanding the Sons of Odin while they took a back seat in the command structure allowing many of their pupils to rise above them in the leadership; even watching as the Deaths Hand tore across Europe with zero concern or care. Set would command his men with honour and pride, within the Sons of Odin and he would always make certain that victory was confirmed. Though this begs to question why he still remains behind the scenes, commanding from within the Brotherhood’s bunkers and not taking true leadership of an agency he surly qualified to command; even the Steel Legion is fearful of moving against Set as many of their generals have been trained by this man and they fully know what he is capable off, Checkmate the legend himself in tactics and battle refuses to even entertain the idea of engaging Set in a direct or indirect conflict and Alexander is in full agreement with this policy; even the King of England has been working on projects he has dubbed the Anti-Set Project encase this one man steps foot within the British Isles. Though unto recently Set would remain within the shadows, pulling the strings and creating an explosive environment; waiting and watching for the correct moment to strike, that moment was on February 2nd 2074 during the liberation of Philadelphia; when he once again donned his Presidents Men suit drew his blades and entered into combat directly and personally against the UCAS forces within the city limits.

This revelation has many fearful, seeing that Set is both a front line combatant and shadow killer; this combined with their youngest and dangerous member the Spartan the Governments of the world have become fearful of the Presidents Men and for damned good reason. Set is beyond a mastermind and tactician and combine his vast knowledge with that of the legends the Director and the Watcher and you have a very small unit of warriors that equal to tens of thousands. Set has proven himself that a simple soldier is nothing more than a speed bump, to him and after the engagement in Judaical Plaza on February 3rd 2074 the Presidents Men once again proved that even DAOD Ronin aren’t even a match for them. The Spartan held her ground against thousands, and within the darkness Set was bringing down Ronin after Ronin with ease, this battle was one of the bloodiest conflicts to be scene within Seattle since the Battler for Independence on December 10th 2073 yet the Presidents Men would stand tall and fight side by side with many the world would call terrorists all to defend the people from the new threat known as Free Bird.

Now I am not saying Set is a good man in any way, he is not; Set is one of the most evil bastards I have ever come across and he is responsible for training some of the most evil masterminds the world has ever seen as well having his dirty little puppet strings within the worlds historical events throughout history for age, though it seems that either Set has gained a conscience or Victor Salazar crossed a line that even Set wouldn’t dare cross; and know we need this man to help fight against the threat that he helped groom and create. Set’s motives are still unclear and only his friend Crash knows fully what directs his friend; and that is a tad scary seeing that Crash is quite unstable, Set has drawn a line in the sand and no stands united once again with his fellow Presidents Men and Sons of Odin on the battlefield against the newly rising threat of Free Bird. I pity any solider that attempts to stand against Set and the Spartan, not to mention the remainder of the Presidents Men. Their signature plasma swords, unknown technology and advanced armour makes these warriors and assassins a true force to be reckoned with and now with Set fully back in action even the government has to fear playing the wrong hand for Set is a warrior that relishes in chaos, and has already sent thousands to their grave in mere minutes; he wields powers that have been lost to ages and seems to even have a minor abilty to manipulate and control the powers over life and death, this is one adept that needed to be reported on and I am the only reporter that wasn’t to scared to at least bring him to the attention of the people. Remember allot of what I am reporting here is speculation and witness reports, nothing is concrete and the only people that can truly verify anything as fact will not say a word about Set. This is one man that is both a curse and blessing, he knows how to defeat the likes of Victor Salazar, but he also knows how to destroy everything we hold dear and when Director Mitchell during the purge told his task force that Set was hands off, not out of alliance, but out of fear this should worry everyone of my readers. This man claims to be a mercenary, but yet he works with the Sons of Odin and Presidents Men and has been even secretly working against the UCAS and playing even the masters themselves for a fool; O’Brian and Jamestown have been clashing for decades, now we know that Set has been manipulating the all mighty chessboard for his own personal gain. The revolution is in full swing, and now we have one of the original players back into the game, keep an eye out for the master of chaos, deception and death known as Set; for only Crash fully understands this man and that again is one fact that has me quaking in my boots.
