Well ladies and gentleman, this is it. We all know what we are heading into and we are by far outnumbered and outgunned, but what shadowrunner hasn’t been?! We are all here for different reasons, money, out of request, but most of us out of the goodness of our cyberized hearts. But one thing stands true, we are all here to save a man that is the best, an Exemplar, of what a shadowrunner is; a man that has aided and done far more for us shadow warriors than all of us combined!

No folly is more costly than the folly of inaction, and it is for this reason I, and all of us here and now, can not and will not stand idly by while Blaine, a man that I will never stand as an equal with, is slaughtered for no other reason than to send all shadowrunners a message. A message to stand down and let our home, our sanctuary, our very haven, be taken by those that would see us all hang.

Success is not final, it is the courage to continue that counts, more than ever, here and now. Every generation of runner has their defining moments. The Fire and Ice job, the Titanic job, the Judicial Mishap. Let this, The Siege of Fort Lewis, be this generation’s defining moment, the kind of moment that years from now, future runners will look back on and wish to aspire for.

We runners may live by what we get for our work, but tonight…. Tonight, lets show the UCAS that our lives are defined by what we as runners can truly give. And We will give them HELL!

 

So Chummers, Time To fight in glory, to live this glorious night, or to be remembered as the legends that we all are…. FORWARD MARCH!
