Sentinels
I am about to report about an little known band of mercenaries that have been fighting throughout the world for many decades and until recently have been unknown to all those that weren’t in the know; I am speaking about the Sentinels and their brutal impact they have had in many of the worlds events and theatres of conflict. When this unit originally formed in unknown but we can directly connect them to the Brotherhood of Mercenaries through their original commanders being the founding members of the Brotherhood of Mercenaries and it wouldn’t be a long shot to place this unit inside the Brotherhood as well seeing that both Crash and Set founded the Brotherhood and commanded the Sentinels.
Now this unit might have gone through it’s trials an tribulations, it’s leadership rotating and many of it’s members falling in battle, but one thing stands true for the surviving members of this forgotten unit is that they have stood the test of time and have stayed focused on their missions and goals of restoring order to the world that has fallen into chaos. Now when I mean restoring order, I don’t mean peace I mean that this unit has been directly focused on the trinity of evil and has been fighting them ever since the Great Tragedy of 2018 and hasn’t slowed down nor ceased their acts of violence upon anyone connected to the trinity of evil or as they would call them the axis of evil.
This unit originally hails from Europe and is comprised of membership from all over the world, though primarily they find members from the UCAS and CAS military’s to fill their ranks. The Sentinels where never an official government military force and would sell their services where they where needed , though once the Great Tragedy would befall the UCAS and the axis of evil would emerge this unit would quickly hard focus on the newly emerging threat and attempt to play the checks and balance game. This units membership has gone through many members as the life of a mercenary is not one that comes with job security or a long life expectancy. Though many legends have found their start within the Sentinels and have gone on to become some of the finest warriors the world has seen; even some of the great commanders now working for the Patriots, Human Resistance Movement, Deaths Hand and Steel Legion have found their humble beginnings within the this forgotten unit, they all follow the motto of once a Sentinel always a Sentinel and this oath has allowed this unit to survive against all odds.
Though it’s the members of this unit that haven’t left or fallen that keep the spirit alive and they are the ones that have seen a lifetime of battle and have never felt the warm embrace of peace; just like the Unforgiven can never find solace and are always at war so are the Sentinels, these warriors have been fighting for decades of not longer and haven’t once laid down there arms and they will never surrender to a greater foe; for a Sentinel will fight till their last dying breath and they would rather fall on the battlefield than be allowed to be defeated. This unit has been all but forgotten for many years as they have been working on a secret mission for their founders and that mission has just been exposed thanks to the advancement of information and the many wars that have been raging across Europe. The Sentinels have been given the task of eradicating the terrorist cell known as Free Bird where ever they have sunk themselves in; they have been working alongside the Deaths Hand in tracking down Free Bird in Europe and even working alongside former Sentinel Checkmate as he ravaged across Africa.
This unit can be considered evil for their tactics are questionable and their lack of concern when it comes to innocent casualties, they see everything in front of them as the enemy and to stand in between a Sentinel and their target is a quick way to end up dead, these warriors hearts pump nothing but conflict and they have a job to do and thats to eradicate Free Bird and the axis of evil from the world; and they will careless if you are innocent and just at the wrong place at the wrong time, for any unit that hunts Free Bird knows that Victor Salazar uses sleeper agents and mind control to enforce his will upon the people. So to a Sentinel most civilians could very well be a sleeper agent of Free Bird and better to shot first than get a knife in the back; the other reason is that these warriors have felt the sting of treachery from both Free Bird and the UCAS before so their trust is questionable as they have learned quickly you trust your brothers in arms and thats it.
Many of the Sentinels have lost their entire families to the Great Tragedy of 2018, or have had them stolen and enslaved by Salazar for one of his great experiments; others have had their families brainwashed and turned against them by the hands of the Freedom Task Force. Also seeing that the Sentinels primarily worked outside the UCAS they where prime targets for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or the British Intelligence division. Even with their founders connections to those agencies, they couldn’t stop the tides of change and as directors retire and new ones come in, contacts and favours are forgotten or just ignored. This unit has survived the ages though and has become one of those ghost stories told by old timer veterans speaking about a order of ghost soldiers that still haunt the battlefields today to scare the younger recruits and greenhorn mercenaries; though those are not just ghost stories and this unit is very real and it’s membership is quite large even if many are inactive, those that remain active within the ranks keep the legends alive about the Ghost Division and have become one with the environment and terrain. They are true hunters and everyone is prey to these seasoned hunters; for the current roster is the remaining members of the original squad that haven’t perished or moved on…though remember their oath and motto “Once a Sentinel, Always a Sentinel!” and they hold true to this.
Finding any real information about this unit besides it’s founders and a few of their previous members like Checkmate, Professor, Accountant, Winter Rat, and Glacier it is like a true ghost division; I have uncovered a handful of the current Sentinels though this information could be out of date or even have been just twisted stories from old veterans trying to scare some greenhorn mercenary; I will list the known current Sentinels below, but please be very cautious when dealing with these warriors war flows through their veins and they might never understand the meaning of peace. This unit has been deployed deep within the UCAS for some unknown reason, though one can bet that Victor Salazar is directly in their sites. The Sentinels or the Ghost Division are masters of warfare and true masters of their environment they move as one and have been working together for longer than most of the people living today. They have been fighting for generations and yes they might have younger members that have joined the Ghost Division in the recent years but it’s the old timers of this group that you need to watch out for; they are just as dangerous as the Unforgiven and just as brutal , they see only the enemy and have been well versed in the Art of War and have studied the great battles of history and some say they really are ghosts of the past and have personally seen countless centuries of conflict; I am not one to subscribe to old wives tales and ghost stories, though I have personally seen the Ghost Division emerge from the fog of war and remove an entire brigade of solders and vanish as quickly as they appeared.
So to consider the ghost division legends and nothing more than a story is not accurate, though they move with grace and speed and truly are a force to be reckoned with and remember their are those that have left the Sentinels but still have worked alongside these great mercenaries, the return of the Sentinels should have the axis of evil and Victor Salazar very nervous; seeing that the Presidents Men, The Unforgiven and now the Ghost Division have returned to the battlefield and have their sites set on restoring what they consider to be Order and the American Way, for this reporter I am very nervous that I might become a victim of the Sentinels not for reporting on them, but finding myself in their path; I am terrified of the Unforgiven and the Ghost Division is just as scary and they have only one objective and thats to be victorious for them it’s the destruction of the axis of evil and Free Bird or nothing and they will never yield nor sway…Believe my report or not is not my concern, but I am telling you the Ghost Division is real and they are not just ghost stories told around campfires and in old soldier bars; for beware the Sentinels are here in the UCAS and they have a mission to accomplish, either get out of their way or become a statistic the choice is yours and yours alone; for you have been warned.

<<These are the remaining original members of this unit of mercenaries, their ranks are nothing more than hold back to the days of old when the Sentinels where the prime fighting unit with hundreds of active soldiers and mercenaries under their command; these men used to command multiple divisions and operate like a well oiled machine, well the machine might have gotten old and the numbers have dwindled but one thing stands true about the Ghost Division is that they will always fight as one and follow the command of their current commander General Erwin Forscythe. Many would like to employ the services of the other generals within the Ghost Division but these remaining Sentinels stand united as one and will either stand united as one or fall as one. These are the last of those that where recruited by the original founders and have been standing together for generations, I will only post the information on the original Sentinels within this page and I will try to stick to the facts about these brutal warriors, though with very little to go on; it will be allot deciphering the ghost stories and legend from fact, so please bare with me. Again this is here for your information and warning, the Ghost Division are powerful, and they are focused with the heartbeat of war flowing through their veins, the Crimson Ghost is now in command and he will never yield and never surrender; don’t become a statistic of the Ghost Division and unless you want to become famous by becoming a victim of them, best to stay clear and allow the Sentinels to march on through.
General Erwin Forscythe (Crimson Ghost): The current commander of the Ghost Division and has been for quite sometime; this man is one of the brightest military minds the world has seen and has taken his division to the status of legends. He deploys tactics from ancient battles to current modern day warfare, he is quick to adapt and is willing to play chess with anyone on the battlefield, the Ghost Division once stood as beacons of the light in the chaos of the modern war; though the Crimson Ghost has had to adapt quickly to the changing tides and deploy very questionable tactics to defeat the enemy a decision he will take with him to his grave for sure.
General Noah Baxter (Panzer): Baxter was once the commander of the Steel Legions Iron Cavalry division and once he saw the honor and valor the Sentinels faced during the invasion of England he quickly defected to the Ghost Division and with him came a vast majority of the Steel Legions Iron Cavalry. Even with the change in the units tactics to adapt to the more modernized warfare Panzer has allowed his conscience to be but on the shelf for war is hell and sometimes you have to break a few eggs in the process. Even today the Steel Legions Iron Cavalry is still divided between their old commander and the crown; with even Rotary the current commander showing leanings towards the Crimson Ghost and Panzer.
General Howell J McMasters (Blarney): Once part of the Irish Republic Army and immigrated to America shortly after the elven take over, Blarney joined the US Military only to be quickly stabbed in the back and forced to retreat or die. He once again returned to Europe to join the Sentinels and stand proud with his fellow Sentinels as they held of hordes of elven attacks and never once faltered. He earned the rank of General when he lead a contingency of Sentinels into the Nog and pushed the elven forces back enough for the English and HRM forces to reclaim part of the Emerald Isle; Blarney is a hero in the eyes of many people even though he now blackened his heart and employs darker tactics to fight the new emerging threat of Free Bird and he fully trusts the leadership of the Crimson Ghost.
General Wesley MacArthur (Duellist): One of the best swordsman to walk the soil, the Duellist was one of the original members of the Crimson Ghost Division that didn’t meet a brutal end. He sought out help to rescue his commanders and friends from certain death, the Duellist would valiantly fight against the UCAS and NATO forces with the warriors of Medjai. He would reunite with the Crimson Ghost after Set rescued them and would vow to never again leave his childhood friends side, nor allow evil to triumph. His heart and soul might have turned black as coal over the years, but MacArthur understands that you either evolve in battle or die and it will be a cold day in hell before he allows Free Bird to become victorious.
General Reverdy Appleton (Anubis): It’s no surprise that a direct relative of Set is still inside this and as well a member of the secret order of Medjai. Anubis has been with the Ghost Division since day one and has once commanded the unit but saw the potential in the Crimson Ghost and stepped aside willingly to allow for a true military genius to lead the Sentinels to glory. Anubis stood proudly against the elven assault of England and was even able to defeat their great magical forces, when he temporarily severed the leyline allowing the Sentinels to even the score and stand tall in the face of a greater foe. He has zero concern with the change in direction and will not stand by and allow the evil of Free Bird nor the Axis of Evil to live and he will do whatever it takes to make sure the Ghost Division remains victorious; Anubis is highly protective of the Crimson Ghost and will damn well make sure that his commander is not harmed, treat Anubis like one would Goblin very carefully.
Colonel Russel Winters (Crosshair): The worlds best sniper and their is no-one that is wiling to contest this claim, he is the only other remaining original member of the Crimson Ghosts Division of Green Beret to survive their betrayal. He is a master of all forms of combat and part of the Medjai like most of this division. Crosshair has felt the sting of betrayal and almost lost his life and life of his childhood friend to the gallows, he vowed to make sure that never happened again and has been making sure that any enemy of the Ghost Division suffers a quick death. He has no moral issues with the change in tactics and would rather be seen as a villain then allow evil to triumph, he fully stands behind the Crimson Ghost and the need to adapt to the modern battlefield.
Colonel Oliver Jamestown (Haunted): Another of the original Sentinels to survive from the days of the Great Tragedy and the Invasion of England, recruited to the division by his friend Crash Haunted brings his unique druidic magic and ancient magic to the unit. His powers are truly off the scale and through the years his magical nature has protected and healed his fellow Sentinels, allowing them to appear unkillable and some say it is the powers of the Haunted that lead to the stories of this unit being nothing more than ghosts of the past; seeing no-one knows what totem Haunted follows and what tradition of Druid he is, for this man has quickly adapted his morals to those of the current tactics and has placed his conscience on the shelf seeing it has no place on the modern day battlefield, The Haunted is another member of the Medjai and one can only assume the great magical arts he mastered from that lost and unknown order, this is one druid that will defend his commander and brothers with everything he has, so be very careful seeing his powers are unknown.
Colonel Bakari Bomani (Horus): Sets right hand man within the Sentinels and valued member of the the order of Medjai that was instrumental in the rescue of the Crimson Ghost and Crosshair when he was sought out by Duellist and with the assistance of Horus and Set the Crimson Ghost and Crosshair would not only survive their most certain death; they would become the legends they are today. Horus gladly accepts his place within the Ghost Division and is loyal to the core to both the Sentinels and the Crimson Ghost, he brings his ancient martial styling of battle to the modern swordsman to create a very unique style that only a handful in the world know. Horus is a true master of war and has zero moral compass, for him the battle that wages across the world is just another fight for salvation and the protection of the souls of mankind from the evils that the axis are trying to unlock; Free Bird is just another hurdle for Horus and he will make certain that they either meet their maker or he will meet his judgement. Horus fought bravely during the elvish invasion and made certain that no elven warrior would pass, this man will protect the Crimson Ghost and anyone he is connected to with his life; I would not want to make a enemy of Horus who has been personally trained by Set and the rest of the Ghost Division.
