This is grouping of all the known deckers within the shadows, this page will discuss all deckers known regardless of there affiliation. Just cause you see a decker on this page that doesn’t mean they are willing to or able to work as a freelancer. Zodiac: This decker is a master of the craft and has been working behind the scenes for decades, he was basically unknown to the shadows till recently but his work has been felt all across the world. The Zodiac is one of those rare deckers that is cross trained and can handle himself both inside the matrix and out of it. He has as well blended the old school with the new school, he uses a combination of wired and wireless technology to be able to access any system even those that are not connected to the mainstream matrix or the internal system. This is a rare technique he developed do to years of being a deep cover agent for the Post Office, and the Zodiac is not sharing these secrets with anyone. He is as well able to access the matrix without actually plugging fully in and becoming vulnerable to physical attack by not being aware of his surroundings this makes the Zodiac extremely lethal and dangerous. He can crash a system in one breath and in the other take out physical security officers. The Zodiac is rarely for higher and when he is his fee is outrageous, this man works for the Post Office and they keep him quite busy. <<Zodiac is a member of the Post Office>>
Hound: This decker is completely feared for his skills, he is a master decker and assassin. He uses his skills inside the matrix to hunt down and locate his target, he also uses this ability to gather and steal valuable intelligence. The Hound used to be a accredited reporter and he would use his credentials to gain access to locations he would otherwise have been barred from, this has allowed him to steal and gain access to very sensitive information that he would then pass on to his fellow Confederates, The Hound works for the SOTC and is also a seasoned member of the Texas Elite this means his skills on the battlefield are quite impressive and this makes the Hound even more dangerous, he is a one man killing machine and there isn’t a system built he can’t crack. The Hound is another one that has figured out how to blend the new school with the old school and keep himself fully aware while he is in the matrix. He still needs to physically be at an access point to a closed system, but once inside there isn’t a decker alive that can stand up to the Hound in cyber combat and forget about the physical combat. Misfit: The Misfit is one of the Founders and has been accessing the Matrix from it’s inception, prior to that he was a world class computer hacker that would bring his form a terror to any and everyone. He has created more viruses and now IC programs then basically anyone else other then his mentor the Banker. There isn’t a system created that the Misfit cant access and there isn’t a decker alive that can counter the Misfit once he is inside your system, this man has caused so much panic and crashed so many systems there are actually new laws on the books because of the Misfit and well don’t trust most of the counter security programs sold at major retailers since they where designed by the Misfit. He has brought cities to a halt and caused some small banks to go bankrupt through his tenure as a runner, the Misfit is quite busy now and he is not for hire, as he works for the Seattle Police Department in charge of their Matrix Crimes Division and is as well a member of the Rough Riders. This Decker is as well highly combat trained and is basically on par with the Zodiac when it comes to closed systems, if the Misfit can pick up any wireless signal he is in and creating havoc in the system as he steals all sorts of sensitive data or is crashing the system all together. This is another decker that is fully aware while he is decking and he is a crack shot so save the medical costs or save the employer the death benefits and don’t approach the Misfit. <<Misfit is a member of the Seattle Police Department, Rough Riders and Wolf Pack>>

Banker: The Banker is the Grandfather of deckers this man is the first of his creed and he is the man who trained the feared Misfit in the workings of the Matrix. Prior to the Data Crash of 29′ the Banker worked inside the government on a project so classified that it is still not revealed. After the crash, he just vanished and went rogue, his disappearance from that project site, had the government in complete panic during those days and when he turned up as the Banker it was way to late. The Bankers instinctive knowledge and workings of the juvenile matrix program when it came to be where so detailed it is suspect that he was somehow involved in it’s creation or to blame for the Data Crash hence why the government publicly made the Banker a fugitive and was actively hunting him. This decker has caused so much damage within the matrix and has crashed so many systems and stolen billions and bankrupted a few small countries that this man has been forced to go deep underground and eventually join the Deaths Hand to keep himself out of prison. The Banker is responsible for the creation of the IC programs and many of the attack and defence programs we still use today and he is also to blame for many of the master deckers that operate within the shadows as he either trained them or they were trained by one of the Bankers apprentices. This man is not for hire as he sits on the Deaths Hands Council of Elders and is a direct matrix advisor to Alexander. The actions of the Banker are still taught today in law enforcement academies around the world as well as his programs are taught in many of the worlds top universities, and every time a IC program is purchased the Bankers accounts get a little more inflated. <<Banker is a member of the Deaths Hand>>
Cyclops: This decker is a real problem child, he is a reporter and has been able to escape the public outrage over him being a Patriot and he has been able to maintain his position within the Boston newsroom. This also means he still has his journalist credentials and can gain access to some very sensitive data, he might not be able to physically leave Boston do to the fear of arrest, but any decker worth his weight in salt never has to leave there home to cause serious havoc. This decker is the Patriots key snoop for gathering intelligence on the NAN since they have yet to close there systems since the advent of wireless technology and he uses his pass codes to breach UCAS and CAS databases as well. This man is a true decker in that nothing is sacred and he is not above shock dumping an enemy decker rather then killing him, being shock dumped causes sever pain and as well fries the deckers equipment costing him thousands or more to repair plus a splitting headache for days or longer. This man is not for hire and works solely for the Patriots, his combat abilities are unknown, but he is a Patriot so he has to have some training, Cyclops can normally be seen in front of the camera spewing his propaganda and keeping Boston prisoner to the lies of the Patriots. He is as well to blame for the Patriots being able to pirate broadcast there hate speech and propaganda across the nation, this decker is a serious threat and is a true enemy of the state. <<Cyclops is a member of the Freedom Patriots>>
Shifter: Shifter is the prime decker for the UCAS military, he works for General James O’Brian and is within the ranks of Urban Strike One. Shifter is a master decker and is the nations only defence against some of the worst offenders to ever walk, he has tracked down many of the nations worst criminals and he can override even the computers of the police department and turn there systems over to the military. Shifter is also responsible for making sure the SOL system is not breached and keeping enemy deckers from being able to access the super lasers. As a member of the elite military team Shifter is quite capable of defending himself and fending off enemy combatants, he has been a member of the elite team since 2062 and has been a active decker since 2053. Shifter received training from the legendary decker Misfit back before he entered Seattle and has used that training to become one of the nations best deckers and is one of the few men that keep our nation safe from the terrorist runners. Shifter is not for hire as he is not a runner and works for our nations military, he needs all of our support now more then ever before with the impending war on the horizon. <<Shifter is a member of the UCAS Army and Urban Strike One>>
Static: This decker is part of what is referred to as the new breed and has been active on the scene since 2067. He is a whiz with the new technology and has some skill with the old school cyber decks, Static uses both a cybernetic implanted deck and an old school Excalibur deck. This makes this new school kid just that more impressive in that he can understand and use the decks of the previous generation and has studied the teachings of the Banker, Zodiac, Misfit and the Hound and is following in there footsteps. Being new he hasn’t had much actual operation experience but he is prized by his employers as a master of counter intelligence and has worked for many of the cities best fixers as there matrix security officer. Static is for hire and is always available for work as a freelancer, he is as well looking for a team to lend his skills to. <<Static is not aligned and not on any team>>
Snoopy: The mighty Snoopy, this decker is another that masquerades as a journalist. Snoopy though has been outed as a member of the Patriots and is no longer able to spew his brand of Propaganda to the nation. Though his journalist credentials are still active and he is still able to access our nations secrets whenever he desires. Snoopy entered on the scene in 2048 as a anchorman for a national news network and has been able to use his network job to keep runners seeming to be the good guys and as well propagandise the spirit of the Patriots and vilify the NAN and police. All the while he was infiltrating our nations most secure locations a stealing sensitive data and reports, he then was able to use the information he gained to create a award winning story and cause are nations leaders to panic and scramble under the threat of being exposed by Snoopy. He is the reporter that uncovered Dunkelzahn’s faked assassination, he uncovered the secrets of the failing cryogenic prison and its cover up, he revealed Lone Stars corruption and abuse of power and many other award winning stories that kept Snoopy in the public eye and as well kept him in demand. This decker has always worked as a freelancer and has never actually physically been on an official shadowrun, though the work he did do was legendary in itself. Snoopy is another that hasn’t actually killed another decker in the matrix, though he does have blood on his hands and he has murdered security officers and other deckers outside of the matrix. Snoopy is a member of the Patriots and is trained in combat and his skill with a pistol is down right terrifying. Snoopy is available for hire if you can find him though he doesn’t work cheap, he is also not going to take any job that compromises his agenda and the goals of the Patriots. <<Snoopy is a member of the Freedom Patriots>>
Samhain: Samhain has been lurking in the shadows since 2045 and has been creating havoc in the matrix ever since, this man is a monster in the matrix and he has created his own brand of chaos by being able to knock out an entire cities communications with only a few simple key strokes. He has mastered the chameleon programs and has created some of his own that only he knows and is not available on the market, so it is not able to be protected against. Also Samhain morphs his program so even if it’s figured out, the next time there defences are useless. This man has blacked out multiple cities nation wide for fun and also testing his multiple programs, he as well has been able to infect the entire Seattle network with an overload virus IC program that attacks the infrastructure and causes the city to eventually grind to a halt till the virus is found and removed. This man is a true cyber terrorist and has been trained by the best and I mean both the Banker and Misfit are responsible for the likes of Samhain and his sick sense of humour, this man caused multiple innocent men to be executed by the state by hacking the prison system and altering there documents, he has basically been able to assassinate any prisoner he wants through using the judicial system at his will. he also caused the great riot of 2055 when he unlocked and opened all the cell doors and gates to the Seattle Prison, this ended with the countless people being killed both inmate and guard. He also overrode the prisons automated weapons and turned them on to the guards, He called it his version of a video game. This decker doesn’t play nice and kills any decker that confronts him by shorting out there dump program and then isolating them and frying there brain till he actually see’s the avatar catch on fire. This means the poor deckers body is actually burning and whatever room he is in will soon be engulfed in flames. Samhain has actually caused entire structures to catch on fire and killed innocent people by cooking a decker, this decker is not for hire as he works exclusively for the Deaths Hand. <<Samhain is a member of the Deaths Hand>>
Tesla: Well this decker is one of the best if the next generation deckers, no one is sure where Tesla came from and where he learned his trade. This master of the matrix just showed up one day in Seattle back in 2050 and hasn’t left, he has been offering his services on the freelance market for so long that he still receives calls for employment even though he has joined the Devils Rejects. Tesla has done thousands of jobs through the years and had to even once fake his own death to avoid a very angry Aries Arms after he crashed their entire network and flooded the matrix with there trade secrets. Tesla does admit that doing that was his biggest mistake and goes to show you kids, don’t drink and deck, once the heat was off of him he resurrected himself and went right back to work. This decker is a master and even some of the greats say he can’t be from the next generation and he has to be at least an original if not someone from that generation. He also harbours serious discontent for the NAN and talks about the nights of blood and the death of his son often, just there are no records of Tesla anywhere prior to 2050 and thats some seriously freaky shit right there. A man of Tesla’s skill in the matrix and his combat prowess outside of it doesn’t happen overnight and also not something seen from a modern decker. Hopefully one day the truth is revelled and the mystery of Tesla can come to light, but till then we have the man and the myth before us. Tesla does take freelance work, though he is expensive and rightfully so from a true artist of the matrix he is a professional through and through so you don’t have to worry about him embarrassing you at a meet and on the job. <<Tesla is a member of the Devils Rejects>>
Lackey: Lackey is an old school freelance decker that once worked exclusively for Light Speed as his matrix security and customer screener. This decker is a master of gathering intelligence and busting into any system that is not closed off from the matrix and even those he can crack given time and the right access port. Lackey has found himself out of after Light Speeds shop was raided by Seattle Police Department back in October of 2073 and the infamous fixer wont rehire Lackey and with such the dynamic duo has ended and so has a legacy inside the Seattle Shadows. Lackey at this point is looking for work and is willing to join a team if need be, any runner team lucky enough to employ the skills of this decker needs to treat him well and Lackey will be a loyal friend and alley for life. <<Lackey is unaligned and not on any team>>
