Urban Strike Division Team 1

Urban Strike 1: Well, lets get one thing straight. This is not a shadowrun team in any way shape or form. This is a Military strike team that was formed from some of the finest runners that worked in the late 2050’s by Gen. James O’Brian. This team was recruited personally by the General for their skills and loyalty to the UCAS. US1 was sanctioned by the UCAS Senate and President Witmore due to the ever increasing Russian threat and a sudden broken arrow crisis. Fort Lewis was under lock down as terrorist’s from the Free Bird organization held the city under the threat of a nuclear attack. The military and law enforcement agencies were powerless to take action.

General O’Brian, at the time Colonel, had a brilliant idea, to sanction criminals to fight this threat to our way of life. James personally funded the foundation of this team and through well placed tactics and something called SOL (Satellite Orbital Lasers) O’Brian was able to swiftly put an end to the Free Bird threat and capture the rogue nuclear warhead. I have tried as I may to find information on how this event transpired. One thing for sure is government deckers are good at making information disappear cause there is nothing to find. Even witnesses have all disappeared.

US1 was able to keep the Russian threat at bay with the SOL, just the threat of it’s use kept the Kremlin from mounting an offensive against the UCAS. Due to their success with the broken arrow and the bear, US1 was given full military authority and sanction. They are used as the last line of defence on the homeland.

Remember Chummers these are UCAS Military officials and this is a special forces team. This team is given full law enforcement powers and license to kill. YOU CAN NOT OUTRUN SOL!! They will detain, arrest, or kill you if you are in violation of the man or machine law, hold any items that are in violation of Article 16 or a violation of the Treaty of Denver.

They might be considered hero’s by the citizens of the UCAS, but in my opinion they are traitors to the shadows and should not be given the same respect one would show a member of Helix or Devils Rejects (minus the Chemist of course). These men are in the same classification as the Originals.
