The Colonists
I know there has been allot of talk about the rebelling teams and orders and their connection to the English thus causing confusion within the peoples minds about their dedication to the cause. Well with the current political climate one can truly be confused and concerned that this hasn’t all been a ruse set up by the rebels to break the system down and allow for the invading force to capitalize on the weakened military and governmental structure causing us to be prone for an attack. Well please don’t be fooled by the propaganda and the reports of the United Canadian American States that are meant to cause fear, division and further break the system down. I am not here to blind you with propaganda and biased reporting, I am here to tell you about another team of freedom fighters that has remained in seclusion and has been working within the shadows for quite some time, this team simply calls themselves the Colonists and has been engaging in the good fight for decades if not longer. They fight for each and everyone of you, they fight for freedom and independence from any form of tyranny and strike at the throat of evil wherever it resides, and for the Colonists they hold true to the original principles set forth by the founding father of this country and have been striking at the United Canadian American States, the terrorist cells that attempt to enslave the citizens of this great nation and even the organised criminal empires that attempt to subjugate the people of this nation.
Well I know that you must be thinking that great another band of murderers and terrorists that have taken up arms against the legal authority and established government, well that may be true but for the Colonists they are only enacting their Constitutionally protected right to overthrow the government and establish a new body of leaders that works for the people and not the reverse, this right has been protected for over two hundred years and even the Ratification of the United Canadian American States can not stand in the way of the original document, seeing that the UCAS in itself is not the legal authority and the Colonists have the evidence to prove these claims. This order has remained in seclusion and secrecy for many decades if not longer and only recently have they emerged from the shadows to stand arm in arm in defence of each and every one of you from the new rising threat to the American way. The Colonists have made a career out of defending the weak, the poor and the sick; they have stood between you and the power brokers within the government, corporations and the criminal syndicate to keep you safe from the corruption and crushing grasp of the tyrants who only aim to enslave and control you.
They might be fighting against the United Canadian American States but please keep this in mind, they have only your best interests in mind and have never once taken a dime for their efforts, this team feels that it’s their duty and their calling to be the defenders of the innocent and protectors of liberty. They like the founding fathers of this great nation have fully invested their hearts and souls into a cause so just, they are not fighting to destroy the Native American Nations as they understand that only those within power are truly guilty and the average citizen is actually innocent having been lied to for generations as their leaders warp the history to their advantage and thus the minds of the innocent. The same holds true for the UCAS as the Colonists understand that it’s only the power brokers that are to blame and thus it’s those that hide within the ivory towers that need to be punished, they keep the citizens controlled and left with a false sense of security; using psychological warfare against the common man as they propagate fear and distrust within the population to only further subjugate and control the people.
Now onto the Colonists and their structure, this team answers to no King, President or General and even their internal structure is so secluded that there is no actual way to figure out who if anyone actually leads this team; they have worked together for so long that they are all deeply intuitive and can anticipate the needs and actions of the other members. This means that they can work in total silence and never once break radio silence on any operation they are engaged in, this is one of their major advantages and it also confuses and frightens any force they are engaged with. This team works through an unknown source and strikes targets that only meet their requirements and will never accept payment for any action they perform as a Colonist. Though some of the members credibility can be left to question for their known violent and murderous actions as this is not the only team many of these members serve, though once they put on the uniform of the Colonists they hold true to their oath and to the cause of being a hero of the shadows.
Their missions have been well documented and can be found deep within the halls of Bostons museum of American History, these members might not see eye to eye when they are not serving within the structure of the team but their actions as a Colonist can not be rebutted and the praises of the citizens they have helped throughout North America can not be ignored. These warriors serve as true defenders of the week and regardless of where they where born, consider themselves American Citizens and with such will never allow for the innocent to be harmed, enslaved or beaten into submission. This team might be large but they never strike as one whole object, and work in smaller teams when needed, and again they receive their orders from a unknown member of this squad and one that has been said to have founded the Colonists.
With the new climate brewing and the impending war with England on the horizon the Colonists will once again stand in defence against this threat as they prepare to protect the American People from the tyranny of the King of England. They will never submit and allow for America to fall under the rule of a monarch again and thus will fight till their last dying breath to keep America free of occupation, the Colonists will stand untied as one to defend our way of life, our rights of independence and our freedoms this is America and even though it’s not the Old America it is still America and Lady Liberty must be defended at all costs, regardless of their personal feelings of those within the power chain of the UCAS. The Colonists might be a small order but they have never once felt the sting of defeat, and they could truly be the heroes we need, these warriors will stand shoulder to shoulder to defend each and everyone of us from the tyranny that looms on the horizon.
The
Heroes
Of The
Colonists
Arnold S Eaton (Nomad): Talk about an unknown phantom. The Nomad has only recently been revealed as the father of Icy, and due to his connection there is the only reason we figured out who he is. This man is the first of many contradictions within this team. He is known as a world class cleaner for the Death’s Hand and a physical magician capable of being within the Order of the Pale Moon as a master. This alone proves his combat capability and his prowess in the world of magic. This team may be one of the few chances we have within the UCAS of not being overtaken by England. While normally I would lambaste these individuals for their murderous tendencies, in this war the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and this man is one excellent friend to have.
Cynthia Eaton (Ivy): The daughter of the Nomad, the apple does not fall far from the tree when it comes to runners. They are all basically related to each other. This team in particular has parents and children directly embedded within the ranks (something seen only in the Devil’s Rejects and the Harbingers previously). Ivy is a dangerous runner and adept who has learned the art of deception from her father. She is a master of removing men in power through seduction and then begins to destroy the company they worked for. I am not sure what part of the war against a government she will play, but whatever corporations are helping them should watch out. Hopefully she only goes after the guilty ones.
Sheldon McCarthy (Sinner): The first of the 4 (known) library members on this team. The Sinner is a man shrouded in mystery who supposedly consumes the sins of others. I am not sure what purpose this has for this man, but one can assume it is not one sided. The library in general is starting to show their hand with where their members are located, and thankfully it will at least for now be with us. This runner/urban legend/vigilante has been hunting the shadows for many centuries according to the records, and makes one believe that lionization may have been around longer than we realized. Legends state that he has had a hand in many of the world’s major events, and it appears that this pattern will continue with the upcoming war. This is one man that I am glad is on our side.
Steven Miller (Whisper): Well, what can be said about this man. While many may know him as the bar stool warmer at the Lantern, it appears that this man has been hiding in plain sight. Whisper is known as a legendary mercenary with some of the strangest and cutting edge tech ever known. His weapons appear to be customized DAOD variants which pack extra power and those who have seen him report having heard a strange clicking noise following him on occasion. The fact that nobody bothers him when at the lantern should have been enough to concern any runner considering the individuals that tend to kick back at that location. This team appears to be full of monsters both old and young, and this is just one of them.
Joe Miller (Collection): This man is a true surprise. When I first saw him as a member of the Library I assumed it was a mistake, but now it has been confirmed beyond the shadow of a doubt. Collection, better known as Joe the bartender, has been a member of this team for decades. He is a highly combat ready individual (probably an adept given some of the reports I have been given). It turns out the Joe doesn’t pay the Orc out front to keep the piece, but simply to watch the posers. The runners in the bar don’t attack this man due to fear and respect, not just because they want a place to chill. Between Collection and Whisper it is now obvious why there are not reports of a successful robbery on the Lantern, ever. Collection, you may have hid yourself for a long time, but you are now out in the open and it is time to show the new generations what it means to battle. You have taken care of the newbies and given them a safe place, and now it is time for you to shine. Here’s to you!
Robert Churchill (Sandman): Let us continue with the familial connections. Sandman is an HRM assassin who, until recently, had not black marks on his record. It has recently been discovered that he is related to Safari (see next profile) and it is no wonder that they are both members of the HRM. Little is known about this man other than that he absolutely hates all elves and kills them regardless of age, sex, or nationality. I am curious as to why he would fight on this team when he has made most of his engagements in Europe, but another highly skilled warrior on our side isn’t something I will complain about. I may not admire you, but we can certainly use your help.
Forrest Churchill (Safari): The other Churchill in both this team and the HRM. Safari is currently leader/co-leader (this is assumed, since due to the war my research has not gone far enough to examine the structure of the HRM since the return of Stalin). This man is known for hunting his victims as thought hey were wild animals that are his prey. That said, this Elf hater is a busy man. He not only serves the HRM, but also the Patriots and Harbour Masters. Well, for whatever reason he is also on this team with his brother/cousin/husband above (who knows, I’m not judging). Being a Harbour Master he is a powerful combatant and being HRM leadership means he brings connections to the Horror Squad with him. He may be frightening, but any help we can get is needed at this point.
Jane O’Bannon (Loreley): Not much can be said about the Loreley that isn’t already out there. She is a well known assassin and since she sits on the Order of the Pale Moon she is likely also a physical magician. It is obvious that her listed circle on her original bio is far off if she sits with masters such as Avalon and Morgana. This Dirty Dozen member has an issue with men, though even she has become married. She works with this order to protect the citizens, and although you should run if you see her at least when on assignment with this team she is there to help. Still, probably best to run just in case. It does seem that the Pale Moon does not care for the invasion given how many of its members are fighting against it. This will be something to look out for int he coming days. They are either double agents, or there is strife within the legion.
Henry Howard Tudor the Sixth (Piper): Not much is known about this runner, other than that he is the husband of the Loreley. He is known to be a member of the Steel Legion and well respected within that order. He runs their public relations, and it is definitely a curious concern how he can both invade the UCAS and still run the Steel Legion. This team should watch out for a double agent. If he is legit, then he will be an asset.
Martin W Harrison (Riddler): Another of the Legion’s top men who are within this team. The Riddler runs the dreaded Justicar division of the Legion. While reports put him as a member of this team for a long time, it is still a concern that holds major ties to the enemy he is supposed to be fighting. What is worse is that this man is also now involved within Seattle’s justice system. He will play a critical role on whichever side he helps. He can be the linchpin for a foothold, or our last bastion against the invasion. Only time shall tell.
Lucy Harrison (Diamond): Oh my, the diamond in the sky. Let me tell you, this is no diamond in the rough. Beware, this is a nothing more than a di-coated blade protected by riddles of the shadow world. Diamond is a new breed runner who is playing the death game with her targets. She blackmails and murders them in order to gain wealth and control of the private sector. She works with the colonists against the UCAS, but it looks like she will be joining the fight against the brits. She isn’t a monster like her father yet, but she is one to watch carefully.
Alvin Drummond (Glacier): The monster of the ages, trainer of the legendary Patches. Glacier is known throughout the world as the consummate mercenary. This man is trained in all combat and wields his tac-computer with the skills of a legendary samurai. This man is virtually unstoppable and recently proved it by wiping out the entire Vandal presence from Seattle as a one man army. Since the Vandals have returned so has Glacier, and now we know he is also part of a group with a conscience. The jury is still out on him, but this is one man I want on our side so that we don’t have to fight him.
Rebel Parnell (Ash): Well, if glacier is the consummate mercenary, Ash is one of the consummate samurai. This woman stands alongside her counterparts like Stamps and Quick Draw tall and proud. She is known for simply ripping her enemies apart limb from limb with no mercy. That said, it now makes sense why she is seen with Whisper often. They are both on this team (aside from being in the Library). This is one samurai that takes her work seriously, so let it stay on them!
Eli Christmas (Gavel): Gavel, the judge and jury of the streets, or at least the judge (though don’t say that in front of Penrose). This man was once a sitting judge for the city, but has recently returned to the streets as a vigilante. It seems strange that a judge who dispenses the violence of the law to become a street killer, but after a bad experience he left the legal system and started dishing out his own justice. This man is one of the good guys of the streets, at least as long as you do not fit his definition of guilty. Otherwise, you will be removed. If not by him, then by one of his friends. We just have to hope he sees the British as the guilty.
Edmund Crane (Defender): The Defender may be the only true good person on the streets. While there are other “good guys” (the Saint comes to mind), this man is a practising minister who has managed to quell one of the most dangerous bloodlines out there. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is the brother of both Stamps and Apex. I know, normally that means run for the hills, but this man legitimately tries to make sure that those around him are unharmed, and has even risked his own life and limb for those who he feels should be protected. He does not directly target anyone unless you go after him or those who he protects, and unlike most his definition of who should be protected is legitimate. This man has no side, except that of the people. I for one will plan to attend one of his sermons.
Chester Malkovich (Saint): The Saint, well here is the definition of a good runner. I have scoured the matrix and my contacts for negativity, and yet I cannot find any dirt. This guy is too clean. If it weren’t for the fact that there are good stories, I would say we have another Jeeves on our hands here (thank you common sense, I never realised how dangerous he was!). The Saint is an NY runner who does good deeds for a living and takes cred when it can be afforded, but otherwise works virtually for free. He was thought to have died at Fort Lewis, but is apparently quite alive. Though, I can only imagine watching your son get himself killed must have been rough. Yes, that’s right, the Saint is confirmed to be the father of Waldo, and therefore watch out. It is likely that he has a silver tongue.
Corbin Washington (Sorcerer): Another member of this team who supposedly dies at the Battle of Fort Lewis. The Sorcerer is the apprentice of the legendary Librarian. This master of illusion survived the battle (in hindsight, it makes sense that his death was an illusion) and is back to fight the good fight against the British. Given how much of the world’s Navy and ground troops we need to deal with, misdirection may play a key role in this battle.
Malcolm Horowitz (Zephyr): The legend himself, Zephyr has arisen to be seen in the public eye. This man needs no introduction, though one will be granted anyway. This man sits atop the infiltrator profession next to Anchor and a few others, though few come close to either of these men. No security can stop this man, and he only leaves evidence if he wants you to know he was there. Most of the time the only clue that it was Zephyr is that there are no clues. This man is known to kill only if needed, and most of the time if you don’t see him you are able to see your next day. This man’s combat prowess is mostly unknown, but assumed to be off the charts. Masters like this are always better to have on our side and not against us. For the moment, Britain has almost done us a favour by allowing these highly trained shadow operatives to be on our side.
Jerry Holt (Mist): Another surprising member of this squad. By now we are used to vigilantes being within the shadow teams, but usually you only find a legend of this variety within the Library. That said, this man has been known to take a job for as little as a tin can if the employer cannot afford his services. He dispenses justice, or at least what he feels qualifies as such, and removes the target with precision. Nobody ever sees him, as seems to be a running theme with the runners in general. I would be surprised if any of the older legends on the team were ever seen given the presence of Zephyr and Nomad in the lineup. Add in the fact that you have several “dead” individuals running the streets within this squad and it seems that they follow the Art of War, seeing as it is stated that all war starts from misdirection and misinformation. Well, glad to have his “justice” on our side for the moment. Maybe throughout this conflict he will see the error of his ways and become a good law abiding citizen. Oh look, a flying pig!!!
Seth Armstrong (Canyon): The profit of the streets of old. Just as the bloody age returns, so does the man who helped to try and prevent it long ago. Canyon, aside from being revered like a deity, was famous for hearing the proverbial words of the street. Though this man was a living contradiction who on one hand preached about rules, and then on his operations broke each one. The carnage and death left in his wake makes even some hardened veterans sick to their stomachs. How his words were trusted I do not know, but it appeared that at least the founders listened to him and his successor Fable and left the game. Well, in true Canyon fashion he has thrown out his own rules again and returned to the game that he told others to leave. He may be on our side for now, but that will change at the first chance he gets. He is known for making humans in to dartboard and mass destruction. The prophet may have returned, but so has the demon.
Larry Tattersall (Stringer): The mad poet has finally declared his side aside from just that of a “reporter”. This man has been classified as a patriot, but in his posts tries to claim that he reports only the “fair” truth that he sees. Well, now it is out. He is as bad as every other reporter. The last true reporter was Roseland before he became “The Paladin”. Now the profession has died. All those who have been influential have taken sides. Some might say there is one left. I say look at his name. “Mr. Boston” has a pretty obvious ring to it. Much like Stringer, we are just waiting to prove it. Tread carefully citizens. This “mad” man will take any opportunity to fill your head with his message and once he gets in he is like a cancer. His message is good for now, but the moment this current conflict ends he will be back to his old tricks, as will all the runners on this page. We are happy to work with them for the moment, but the families and relatives of all those who have been killed will never forget the past.
Dr. Irwin B Gloucester (Cardiac): The medical doctor himself, Cardiac is here as well. Seems like this man should be a reject given his history not to mention pairing him with Crash would be too perfect…. This man has been rejected from his own country due to his being unable to follow orders or reliably complete their objectives. While their objectives might not be good for us, it does say volumes about their members and leadership. The Legion is obviously incapable of picking good individuals for their causes, and furthermore cannot keep their own members in line. Now, I’m not complaining seeing as we have picked up an important commodity (an excellent physician – god knows we will need them in the coming days), but it should be noted that this man has already jumped ship once. We have no way to verify he is not a spy, or may just leave when the going gets bad. He is like a woman; once divorced it is likely it will happen multiple times. Good luck keeping the turncoat here.
Douglas T Bernhardt (Scooby): Scooby dooby do, where are you?! Well, I couldn’t pass that one up, sorry readers. Scooby is quite the detective, much like his cartoon counterpart. For this war we may need the whole gang and some serious munchies. For this old runner turned cop/inspector being high may not be the worst thing given his past. Instead of the Colonists maybe he should have joined the Minutemen. He has seen some terrible things and still gotten through it. He was originally one of our southern friends and made his way north during a troubled time in his life. Now he is working to help the citizens. While I have my own opinions on the Pack (I mean cops), he spent his whole life trying to bring down corruption. Hopefully he will return both justice and sanity to his life throughout this conflict.
