Bio: It is time I spoke about the man known as Cadillac, this runner was first mentioned within the article written for Trespass. Some poor reporter got lucky enough to be able to have a candid moment with Trespass and be regaled with the tales of the man’s past. Though it seemed Trespass didn’t agree with the way he was portrayed and has begun to hunt the reporter for his choice words. Well I am not that stupid and I will keep this article straight and to the point about the man known as Cadillac, first off this mercenary is not a rigger like many would assume do to his handle. No General Buckley earned the name do to his fondness for the automotive and he can always be found driving or being driven in one. General Buckley has been serving the Brotherhood since it’s inception and prior to that he was a soldier of fortune working for one of the many corporate contractors that sprung up in the latter part of the twentieth century. Prior to serving as a mercenary, Buckley was a career solider and officer working for the United States Army. He served out of Boston Massachusetts and became friendly with a militant there by the name of Archibald Kingsbury, it seems that even before the Ghost Dance and Nights of Blood Kingsbury had been preparing for a revolution and claiming that the government had lost it’s way and it was time for the Tree of Liberty to be refreshed. Buckley being a New England native and proud American was swept up in Kingsbury’s rhetoric and the two would become close friends, though this kinship would also cost Buckley his prestigious military career as the government didn’t agree with Kingsbury’s version of patriotism and considered him to be a home grown terrorist. Though for Buckley he was an innocent casualty and when the hammer came down, the brass in Washington felt that he was to close to the Kingsbury and since Colonel Warner Buckley wouldn’t cease his meetings with Archibald, and he was as well beginning to speak out against the current administration preaching the same rhetoric that Kingsbury was preaching. The brass gave Buckley two options, he either retired or faced court martial for insubordinate behaviour and actions not becoming of an officer. Colonel Buckley choose to walk away and retire his commission, giving up on the dream of becoming a general he could no longer serve a military that had forsaken it’s values and had become a political puppet of the politicians in DC.
Buckley left the service, but he didn’t leave the military lifestyle as he would be approached by many in the corporate military corps to serve as a commander of there mercenary units, though he couldn’t stop thinking about the words that Archibald would preach and the actions that man was taking against the tyrants in DC. Though he couldn’t in good conscience go to the extremes that Kingsbury was willing to go and he could not stomach the violent actions being brought directly against the American people. Kingsbury and his people were not above striking a blow for freedom and bringing military action directly to the streets of Boston whenever they deemed it was needed, using bombs and automatic gunfire to strike fear into the city government and even the people. Buckley agreed with their cause, but he couldn’t condone their actions and would begin to separate himself from the patriots in Boston. Over the next few years Buckley would focus on his new career as a military contractor and end up fighting and commanding forces all over the world and especially within the troubled Middle East. Though as the years went by, Buckley would begin to see that he was only a puppet of the politicians and was nothing more then there muscle. He began to see that they would use the contractors as an independent military force that they could have perform illegal actions and then pass the blame on to the mercenaries, when the media would get wind of there operations over seas.
He was being used as a fall guy and over the years he would end up spending more time in court, then on the battlefield. Fighting to keep himself or his men out of prison, off of death row and spend millions in legal fees to fight the government that was using and abusing the mercenaries. Buckley started to see just what Kingsbury was speaking about, and seeing exactly why they where striking a blow for freedom. The government had become to big and had been given to much power, they were using the contractors as there own personal strong arms and when the going got tough, they would attempt to sacrifice them as rogue agents working as terrorists. Buckley narrowly avoided multiple guilty verdicts that would have sent him to the gallows, and was watching his bank account dwindle with each passing year. By the year 2015 Buckley had enough and was looking for a way to separate himself from the Corporate Contractors, though he knew Kingsbury would accept him in a moment, he still couldn’t kill his fellow Americans with ease like Kingsbury, Patton, and English. He couldn’t go to that level of extreme, though he couldn’t retire either as he knew that somebody needed to bring the honourable fight and speak out against the tyrants in DC.
That is when Buckley would encounter a freelance operator that was willing to do whatever it took to strike a blow for freedom, he was also impressed that this man was not even an American citizen and yet he held true to the American ideals and was willing to risk life and limb to bring down the tyrants though spare the citizens of the country. Buckley encountered this gentlemen one evening while he was sitting in a local coffee house, nursing a cup of coffee and eating a muffin as he contemplated his future. Buckley had just left the corporate mercenary world, when he was approached by a small older gentleman. The man was professionally attired and no taller then 5’5, he wore lines on his face like battle scars and the deep circles under his eyes showed that this gentlemen had experienced life. As Buckley sat and contemplated his future, the older gentlemen approached him causally asking if he could join him. Buckley was taken aback by his odd accent that seemed to be a blend of Sicilian and British, Buckley just nodded in agreement and the older gentlemen joined Buckley at his table. At first the two men sat in awkward silence, till the older well dressed gentlemen broke the silence by introducing himself as Salvador Ferrara and that he had heard good things about him, he had been paying attention to his mercenary career and was sent to seek him out through a mutual friend. Buckley looked at Sal suspiciously at first till he mentioned the Name Archibald Kingsbury, at that point the two men just began to chat causally Buckley hopping to catch Sal in a lie. Though as the two spoke Sal seemed to grow on Buckley and made him feel as if he had known the gentlemen his entire life. Sal finally broke the ice saying I know that you are looking for something new, your looking for a new direction and something to be proud of, something to dedicate yourself to and something that you can do that will be a thorn in the side of the government without being directly involved in attacking the people like Kingsbury.
Buckley at this point was interested in what Sal was speaking about, he had already expressed these concerns to his dear friend Archie and knew that only he and Kingsbury had any knowledge of what Buckley was looking for. He was now even more convinced that Sal was on the level, but still it was hard to trust a Italian especially a Sicilian, though that odd British accent was warming though it didn’t fit the frame. Sal continued to speak about what he was trying to begin but couldn’t be in command as he didn’t have the experience in military structure and was looking for someone to take the reigns as the commander. He was looking for a like minded gentlemen that had military command experience and was willing to stick it to the government. The two men spoke for what seemed like hours about Buckley’s career, his experience, his political views and his dedication to the cause; eventually Sal had heard enough and handed Buckley a business card with a seven digit code on the back. Telling him the cypher was good for forty eight hours and if he would be willing to accept the command of a new mercenary unit all he had to do was call the number on the card and give the operator on the other end the code. Everything else from their would be taken care of and he would be given an address to head to, where he would meet with a man named Dr. Statler Cannon and he would be given the full details of the situation as well be fully briefed.
Then Sal rose from the chair shook Buckley’s hand and just simply vanished into the crowd, Buckley stared at the card for a while before putting it into his shirt pocket and then leaving the coffee house. What we know is that Buckley must have made that call cause in the summer of 2015 the Brotherhood of Mercenaries came into existence with General Warren Buckley being in command of what would become the largest paramilitary agencies the world will ever see. Over night single handedly become a serious thorn in the side to the politicians in DC that could no longer use these private contractors as their disposable dough boys. There is no one that is wiling to divulge what occurred between Dr. Cannon and Buckley, though from what we can dig up this is when Buckley transformed into the terror known as Cadillac. At first the Brotherhood stood as an honourable agency that was willing to help those that needed protection and those that needed military support that couldn’t afford the fee’s of the company men.                     The Brotherhoods earliest roster included men like Crash, Chemist, Reboot, Juggernaut, Trespass, Moray, Sellsword, Ragnarock, Wake and the Dandy Man. Many other men joined the Brotherhood during it’s early days and once the Ghost Dance hit and the government turned it’s back on the people the Brotherhood had become the only line of defence for the American people from the invading Natives and Government Agents. It is hard to get an exact role call roster from those first five years of the Brotherhood, but besides the people that are mentioned above I was able to locate a few others that began back in those earliest days of the order. Mercenaries like Fable, Tracer, Tugboat, Cider, Ducky, Mason, Alchemist, Apothecary and Fallout all can be traced back to the original member records along with thousands of other soldiers that where upset with the way things where going and would abandon there military careers and join the ranks of the Brotherhood as they took up arms in defence of the American people.
Many men an women would fall in the name of freedom during those bloody times, but one thing can be held self evident if it wasn’t for the Brotherhood also known as the Sons of Odin. America might have been fully lost to the rampaging Natives and many more innocent lives would have been lost. Yes Cadillac might have started off with honour and tradition in mind, but as the years clicked away his Brotherhood would become divided between fighting for the people and against the tyranny of the False Flag and fighting for the all mighty credit. But this division was almost needed in order to keep this mighty paramilitary unit alive as the men that joined in the early days where fighting for revenge, justice and freedom as they where personally affected by the Great Ghost Dance, The Nights of Blood and the Government Cover Up. These men would never forgive and never forget what had transpired and no amount of credits cold sway them from their cause, well maybe the Sea Wolf Moray could be swayed since he is a pirate though even that is questionable since Moray lost his beloved to a government strike team and his children were massacred by natives during the nights of blood and he was stuck hard by the ghost dance. So maybe Moray is a bad example, and yes these mercenaries are all dedicated to the cause and not directed by credits and care little for any other engagement.
Yes being soldiers of fortune they all travel and fight where they are needed, but there heart is always in the fight against the UCAS and the Legion so when Fitzgerald rose in rank and would become a General. It was in the best interests of the Brotherhood that Buckley would create another fringe division and give it to General Fitzgerald to command, knowing that as much as Tugboat was dedicated to the cause he was also a staunch professional and was growing weary of Buckley’s command style and the men that were raking up red marks and ignoring the rules of engagement. People like Sellsword, Ragnarock, Juggernaut and the Dandy Man normally would have been suspended or removed from active duty for their over zealous antics but Buckley would praise them for there dedicated service and reward them with further contracts. General Fitzgerald was bothered by this and could no longer serve under Buckley. So what would become the smartest move of the Brotherhood Buckley would divide the agency and allow Fitzgerald to remain as a member and command his own faction of mercenaries. The two generals agreed that if they needed specific people they could ask the other for someone, but must accept if the answer was no. And so began the rise of the Brotherhood that everyone actually knows about and accepts as the true beginnings of this order, well we can now verify that the Brotherhood was started by General Warner Buckley aka Cadillac with the assistance of Salvador Ferrara and Staler Cannon.
I am not going to go to deep into the politics of the Brotherhood here and give you a history lesson on every action they where involved in domestically and internationally. Though to do so would cause this article to become bogged down with hundreds of accounts of major actions and thousands of minor engagements. I will focus more on the man himself the one known as Cadillac, if the men he has under his command aren’t scary enough the commander himself is one man that one would never want to meet on the battlefield as Cadillac is one of the fiercest combatants the world has ever seen and will never surrender. This man will fight to his last dying breath and since he is a proactive commander he is always out in the thick of the fight. Cadillac is a highly trained physical adept that has never been registered, he actually sent the pieces of the agents that came to test Buckley for his circle level back in multiple bags. He sent the government a very violent message that the Brotherhood will never comply with any action that attempts to register, enslave, or restrict them. They will fight for the freedom of all men and they will fight for the defence of the innocent, and thats just what Cadillac does. He fights for the people and will only engage actually military or armed citizens otherwise he lets his men do the dirty work, knowing that sometimes good men must become the villain in order to win a war against a tyrant. Even Mr Cadillac himself has slide down the perviable spiral over the years and forsaken his heroic ways for that of a more villainous antics. Though nothing that Buckley will ever do will compare to the horrors of the False Flag and the Legion, yes he might have slipped away from his heroic actions but what he does pales in comparison to the actions of the enemy.
Mr. Cadillac is master of combat, and has left a sea of severed heads in his wake, he commands some of the most fierce killers and cleaners that have zero compassion and will never yield in battle. Though Mr. Cadillac will never engage the innocent and he will never strike a civilian if he can help it. Though he will overlook when some of his men, like Venom, Taps, Vex and Pedagogue make examples of civilians, he will as well ignore when Fallout, Moray and Bug use civilians as test subjects or unleash the fires of hell into a civilian location to strike a UCAS military facility. So he has sold his soul and his principals for the dedication to the cause and so the circle continues as General Warner Buckley who once couldn’t stomach the actions of the General Archibald Kingsbury and his Patriots has become exactly like what he once despised. As it now seems that General Fitzgerald is beginning to suffer the similar fate, and he is quickly becoming exactly like his mentor Mr. Cadillac and so the cycle continues.
