Bio: Well this man has recently come to my attention and from what I have found out about this old timer is he is really good about staying off peoples radar. Five is a very close friend of the Gumshoe and has been working alongside that private investigator for decades if not longer, this proves that the Gumshoe is not all he is cracked out to be. This man is a silent killer and bringer of the end to many people and I mean countless lives have been lost at the hands of five and the numbers keep rising. Five is another infiltrator who is on the scale of the Unforgiven and has managed till now to stay hidden and I only think I uncovered Five because he allowed it. This man has been watching the back of the Gumshoe for years and keeping that pesky detective very well informed on the comings and goings of the shadows underworld.

The reports about Five are very scattered and many of my investigators refuse to even take the case to confirm anything more about this old timer out of sheer fear. What I do know is SPD has no open cases involving Five and I wonder why, with a friend like the Gumshoe inside the police department of course his cases would vanish quickly. This man is a ghost and has managed to move through the shadows undetected, he has killed countless and Five now has reviled himself publicly to murder a known native warrior that was living inside Seattle. Five broke the man’s neck in four places in mere seconds and vanished back into the shadows leaving his young children traumatised and police baffled. The only man who knows anything about Five is the Gumshoe and good luck to get the old coot to open his mouth about his friend.

Five has also made it abundantly clear to anyone with a brain, what side of the war he is on and this killer will not justify his killings, no he will kill anyone who he deems to be an enemy so that means it’s open season on NAN citizens and UCAS citizens and supporters. Five just doesn’t seem to care anything about justification and he see’s all who still drape themselves in the UCAS or NAN flag to be nothing more than a problem that needs to be filling a coffin and not among the living.

You can bet your lucky stars that Five will be protected by the Gumshoe and other crocked members of the Seattle Police Department, this man has slipped through the cracks for to damned long. He has sent many a citizen to an early grave and has caused to many tears to be shed, this man needs to be captured and brought to justice before the Mayor deems him a protected guardian. Fives capabilities are basically unknown but you can count on the fact that he has been cross trained by the Gumshoe, the Unforgiven and has been outfitted with some of the best weapons and armour known to man. Five has gone this long undetected that means he is damned good, and a legend in his craft. Please here my plea, people of Seattle you need to understand that Five is not a good man, this man is a killer and has been murdering people for longer then most can remember; he has managed to get away with murder and he will keep killing until he is arrested. Please report any information or sightings of Five to your local Federal office since SPD seems to be not interested in capturing this madman.

Bio: Well here is another old timer that has crawled out of the woodwork and returned to the streets that he once prowled as the king of kings. Vex is a total professional but he plays by his own rules and his code of conduct in not commonly known to anyone but him. This runner has been operating since 2033 and hasn’t slowed down once, he just changed the scenery and travelled all around North America and Europe performing his specialized craft of human extermination. Vex has more blood on his own hands than anyone else who has ever worked within the shadows and legend says this man has killed more people through the years then cancer. Now we know this to be a bit of a steep claim, but when it comes to Vex one would tend to believe the hype.

He works for various agencies, crime syndicates and governments this man as well takes freelance work if the price is right, and for Vex you get what you pay for. He has no morale objections to mass shootings to cause fear, he is not even above entering a corporate headquarters and playing shoot’em up with the security or wage slaves and executives if needed. Vex has no fear, and has stared death in the face a number of times. Do to this he is a bit of a wild card as to what he will do, though his normal fall back is automatic fire into a crowd of unsuspecting victims. Vex is a man that is normally hired to make sure there are mass causalities and extreme fear is felt across the city where he last worked.

For Vex life is not priceless and everyone has a price, he will work for a variety of fee’s and he will normally spend more then he makes on a operation but for this man it’s about the final outcome, and for him thats terror and seeing his legend grow. Vex may pretend to be a nice man and a sincere gentlemen but in reality he is a monster that sold his soul many years ago. He is one of the rare operators to have a fully operational military grade tactile computer with a full sweet of upgrades including some DAOD modifications. This system has taken away his remorse, his humanity and his ability to full understand and relate with most of humanity. How he even retains his magical abilities is a mystery, but for this killer thats a mystery best left unsolved.

Vex claims he is back on the streets of Seattle to help with the war, and assist the endangered new breed generation. Though I believe he is more interested in the bottom dollar and collecting the fallen bodies for the ripper doc. He is not a man that has ever shown a drop of concern for anyone other then himself, and I don’t think he is going to change for a leopard doesn’t change it spots. For Vex he knows who his friends are, he knows who his allies are and everyone else is either an enemy or target. So basically this man is to not be trusted unless you know damn well that he doesn’t have his sights set on you, he is a exterminator of human and metahuman and is only looking to cause complete terror with his actions. Why Vex hasn’t joined the Deaths Hand yet is a mystery, but I wouldn’t be surprised if in the coming days he doesn’t end up within their ranks.

Bio: The Dentist, well this man is a full fledged assassin and cold blooded killer. He has lurked on the streets of Seattle since at least the 2030’s if not sooner, his legend is whispered within the shadows for generations and no one is ever sure where he came from or where he goes this man moves with the wind. When he takes a kill it is always with a blade, and his cut is deep and fatal. though how he earned his handle is because he removes the victims teeth with surgical precision and according to coroners reports he starts the extractions while the victim is still alive. This killer has never been caught or spotted, the only photo we have of him is one he left nailed to the office door of the of General O’Brian with a scrawled note on the back saying “I’m Back, the Dentist.” This has all of us concerned cause this man has killed one person a week for over 30 years and now he is back and he made it personal by telling the General. Sadly I have very little intelligence on this man he never left any evidence, never left his victims alive, has never been seen by witnesses and moves like the wind.

What I can tell you about this man, is his killings are not random, he targets specific groups of people though that might have changed over the years his normal targets where Upper Class, Christian, Muslim, Native and Elven citizens. He would never strike children though he would make more then a few orphans through the years. The Dentist has been killing before the days of the Ghost Dance though he entered Seattle in the 2030’s and this man is methodical and he started of with perfection like he has both police and medical training. His weapon of choice is always a large blade, though he has used tranquillizers in the past.

This is one assassin that has me very nervous since we are not sure if he is an assassin, or just a very skilled serial killer who has perfected the art of murder. He has left both local and federal police forces baffled for years and he has even schooled the best within the corporate law enforcement. The Dentist being back in Seattle has many people very concerned and what makes matters worse is he is a Yates, though we have no idea the connection and if joins forces with the Brothers Grimm the city will have a true nightmare to deal with and no one will ever sleep easy again.

Bio: Thumper might appear younger then most of his generation and thats this runners greatest asset, his body was not ravaged with age and he maintained some of his youth though I am unsure how. Thumper is a cross trained mercenary and rigger, this man has seen the absolute worst the world can throw at him and his friends but yet he still holds some hope for the future even if it’s bleak. Thumper used to work exclusively alongside Fable and was privileged to receive the hallowed messages and warnings from him, do to working with Fable Thumper has had interactions with most of the other originals, though most of them look at him as their younger brother this Thumper doesn’t mind and is fine with being in the shadows of the legends. Since he knows he is legend in his own right, he is the first man to blend the art of being a Rigger and Samurai, this cross training has become popular with the riggers of the later generations and Thumper is responsible for this. He is as well been on some very legendary jobs back in those early days including the famed Pentagon raid, when a group of Seattle’s finest not only infiltrated the FDC they struck the Pentagon and stole some very classified documents, and hardware. These runners as well assassinated three of the joint chiefs and the secretary of defence a man by the name of Ronald Young, their actions on that day brought to the attention of the national media the craft of being a shadowrunner and as well brought forth some of the strictest laws regarding cyberware, firearms, electronic warfare technology and advanced cyber decks.

Thumper was highly paid for this shadow opp and so where the other runners on this team, this also is the job that let the employer learn the valuable lesson of never trust the runners. Before this operation the employer and employee relations where understood, this job proved otherwise the runners involved not only accepted payment for completion, they killed the Johnson and stole his credit stick and kept the hardware and data for themselves. These runners made off with millions, and so became the rule of the Johnson will always try to screw the runner in some manner. The old timers involved in this legendary job were Thumper, Iceman, Fable, Accountant, Ringmaster, Stamps, Gunslinger and Banker. So when you see one of these men you can thank them for making the world of being a runner so difficult, Thumper vanished into the wind shortly after that job.

He showed his ugly mug once again within the ranks of the Sons of the True Confederacy to aid in there rebellion against the UCAS and Treaty of Denver. Even though the Civil war was long over by this point and the CAS was born, fighting continued and Thumper felt that he could aid in defence he was heading Fables warning of the winds and felt this was the best place for him to fade into. Thumper has been loyal to the SOTC ever since and continues to press on believing that once the fighting is done the America’s can be one or at least at peace with each other, though he knows thats a long shot and he will be content once the NAN and Aztlan are no more.

Thumper has recently returned to Seattle and he doesn’t look as if he has aged on bit from when he was last seen, whatever he is doing here in Seattle can’t be good and the SOTC must be up to something to release Thumper upon us again. General O’Brian might be at a disadvantage here since he has never dealt with the likes of Thumper before. This runner is definitely going to be a wild card in O’Brian cleaning up the streets, Thumper has proven time and time again that he has no fear and is willing to crawl into the belly of the beast if need be. I can only hope that he is captured quickly before he becomes one with the shadows again.

Marvin Yates (Accountant)

Bio: Well this is a runner I remember my father and grandfather talking about when I was a child, and not in a good way. My father being a detective and my grandfather being an editor for the Seattle Times, this man was big news during those early days and before. I spent my entire professional career trying to gather intelligence on the phantom known as the Accountant, I almost gave up till one of my investigators uncovered some hidden records and data files. Though it did cost that man his life, and for that I am very sorry for his family, The Accountant is a true master assassin trained by the best of the business and worked deep within our own government inside the CIA he is as well a trained Mossad agent. The Accountant when he was a sanctioned killer took on some of the worst dictators, warlords and criminal syndicate leaders and made them all vanish, he was the bane to any world leader that stood to go against the United States or Israel. He was the companies top assassin and this man just being rumoured to be in country would cause the fiercest warlord to quiver like a school boy awaiting the principals cane.

The Accountant has taken down more heads of state then any other person, and he moves like the wind and is just like a ghost. He only makes his presence known after it’s way to late, he is a master of all forms of killing and even a tooth pick is deadly in the Accountants hands. He is a true master of toxicology and can even culture compounds to affect specific DNA strands or even go as far as creating a toxin that can be carried by a immune unaware host and a simple handshake could spell doom for the intended target. His list of victims reads like the Vietnam Wall Memorial in the FDC, and sadly it keeps growing as no-one has been able to find and stop this killer for hire. Well during those early days of chaos, the Accountant was used as a equalizer and sent into native territory’s to send a very unsettling bone chilling message, that the UCAS would not go quietly into the night.

The government was content to use this master of death and terror, since they knew it’s better to have the devil working for you, and keeping him where they could see him. The only flaw in there plan was they didn’t foresee the data crash of 2029 and that even their systems could be brought down, well during the data crash all records of the Accountant vanished and this man was able to walk freely away from his government leash and vanish into the shadows. This is exactly what he did, the government lost their best and most feared asset and the shadows gained one hell of a warrior to join the ranks in those early days.

The Accountant re-emerged here in Seattle, in the very early part of the 2030’s and picked up where he left off as a government Assassin, and he joined forces with his brother known as the Professor. These two men became the most valuable asset in those early days, they took any job that would pay them and allow these brothers to spill blood. When there cousin joined forces with them, the trio focused on the NAN threat inside Seattle and even would go after elven districts, this trio was so feared that all records of there unison have been eradicated from the record books, it only got worse when there nephew now known as Vortex entered the city. Though records of Vortex being in the city, contradict when the Accountant arrived, but again do to the war, and all the chaos and Data Crash, information could be wrong on the exact dates. I can only report with the information I have and even thats very limited. This shadowrun team was one of the first to work within our fine city and they were all blood kin, these men became the most feared runners to ever lurk.

We do know that the Accountant, parted ways with his family and started working solo, in the early 2040’s and this is were his path brought him to Ireland also known as the Tir Na Nog and he crossed paths with a up incoming young assassin known as the Senator. Again this is mere legend and speculation but the stories that float around say the Accountant took this young man under his wing and trained him in the arts of stealth killing and toxicology and if these rumours are true, be very concerned about what the Senator is capable of and we all know that all mentors never teach there pupils everything. What we do know for fact is the Accountant has worked for the HRM and Deaths Hand on a number of occasions and he is even considered a friend of the HRM.

The Accountant eventually vanished from the Seattle shadows and slipped further into the shadowy night, where he went is a complete mystery but a man of his skill and power would not just settle down and retire, he would keep working. There are rumours that he went to work for the Deaths Hand and between Panama and himself are the sole reason the Hand has been so successful in their European conquest, the other rumour is that he entered the ranks of the HRM but again these are just speculations as the only one who would now the truth is the Accountant and he is not talking.

This brings us to current days and according to my investigator before his untimely death, the Accountant is back in Seattle and has been seen at the Water Front having a private meeting with the Professor and Vortex, hopefully this doesn’t mean that part of the original gang of four is reuniting. This city has enough to deal with now with the war of the NAN and the war of the shadows, it doesn’t need to deal with those 3 entering the fray. Though in could also be good for Seattle if Vortex is recruiting his Uncles for the Old Guard. I guess only time will tell what the Accountant is up to and what the city is in store for, this killer is not a man you want to approach for any reason, he is not known for his temperament and he cares little about fans and being famous, so keep this in mind. The Accountant is here for business and his business comes with a swift trip to the morgue, please my fellow shadow beat reporters leave this runner alone or you will end up in a body bag.

Dr. Melvin Meisner MD (Vortex) or (Grandfather Winter)

Bio: Through deeper research I have uncovered yet another Patriot who has been working behind the scenes for decades, this runner turned doctor used to run the shadows of Seattle back in the early 2030’s till the 2040’s the exact time of his work is up to debate but the city is still quaking from the work of Vortex. In order to fully understand this man’s rage, and what turned a good man, bad we must first take a trip back in time and look at the events the moulded Vortex into becoming one of the cities fiercest shadow warriors, Melvin prior to the events being described was a traditional Church going family man, he was a veteran of the war in the Middle East in the early part of the twenty first century and served as a medic in the United States Army, he was as well a proud father and husband who was working his way through medical school to provide for his wife and children. Melvin had the life that everyone dreams of, a decent paying job, a good education, a nice suburban home with a white picket fence and a beautiful wife and three loving children,

Melvin was living the life and had just graduated from Harvard Medical School with honours and was looking at a valiant career as a surgeon with a speciality in cardiology, he was living in the suburbs of Connecticut and getting ready for his first day in his private practice office. When an evil plot was brewing and his life would forever change and Melvin would become the terror we know as the Vortex. Dr. Meisner was a Seattle native and still had family here and would visit on a number of occasions, on this day he was going about business as normal and had just arrived at office and was getting ready for his first patient when the magic of the Natives was unleashed and Melvin’s life was forever changed in a heartbeat. Once the Ghost Dance was unleashed everything he spent his life building was gone in a flash, his wife and children were dead, his home gone, all his worldly possessions gone, his country turned against him, and war breaking out in the streets of his cozy suburban town. He was trapped in his office with only the clothes on his back and the skills he learned in the Army to save him. Communications where down and Melvin had no way to know what was going on outside, he body ached from the magical assault that had ravaged him and he knew that something big had just happened, and if he stayed in his office he would surly die.

Melvin carefully made his way to his car and was taken aback by seeing native soldiers on the streets dragging non natives out of their homes and murdering them in the streets, his mind flashed back to the horrors he saw in Iraq and Iran and he kept telling himself this couldn’t be real, though the sudden piercing pain in his shoulder from a natives bullet brought him quickly back to reality. He traversed quickly to his car and made a hasty retreat, knowing he had to get medical attention soon for the would, but he knew he had nowhere to go. Melvin first attempted to go back to his home and thats when he saw his house burning and the street crawling with native soldiers, he knew he would be killed if he attempted to continue on and he only prayed his family had escaped and was safe, but in the pit of his stomach he already new they were gone. That’s when Melvin made his way to the one place he thought would be safe and that was his local Church Saint Anne’s Presbyterian Church and when he arrived it was clouded in a darkness and looked like it had been ravaged but was free of native forces, so he parked his car in the rear and used his key to enter the Church’s basement. Once in the basement he gathered the basic supplies that were available and began to work on the bullet would in his shoulder. He came to the sicking conclusion that he would not be able to fully spare his arm without being in a hospital and all he could do was stop the bleeding and take the pain killers he had in his doctors bag and pray for the best, and move on to a safer location. As he left the Church he saw the pastors home ransacked and his pastor and family dead, Melvin figured if there where any supplies left in the house he best do a quick sweep through.

While searching the home, he found a small surplus of medical supplies, some canned food and bottled water, camping equipment and the pastors hunting riffle and pistol with a few boxes of ammunition as well as a compound bow and a quiver of arrows in the teenagers room. Melvin gathered up the supplies and put them in his car as well as a two gas cans he found in the garage. Melvin sat in the front seat of his vehicle completely dumbfounded, and in shock everyone he knew was dead, everything he cared for gone and he was unsure of the fate of his arm. He couldn’t believe this was happening and what could he do, where could he go, thats when he just started heading west in what would become the most dangerous cross country trip ever as Melvin leapt out of the frying pan and into the fire. By the time he made it Colorado he knew his arm was a goner and he was going to have to amputate it or suffer gangrene. He was only thankful that only a few days prior a pharmaceutical representative had left a large back stock of samples of antibiotics and other medication and he was smart enough to grab them before leaving his office. As now in the back country of the American mid west, he was forced to do the unthinkable and apply a tourniquet to his left arm at the shoulder and using a heated saw he would have to amputate his own arm or die from infection and blood poisoning. Using vodka to sterilize the area he did the unthinkable and removed his own arm you could only imagine the pain and torment that must have been going through his mind and body.

As Marvin sat there looking at his own arm laying in a pool of his own blood and covered in dirt, with a bloody hand saw in his good hand he again flashed to the horrors that he saw over seas and now the terror that was encompassing him of the events that transpired only a few days prior. He felt himself fading from the pain and blood loss and he new he had to act quick and cauterize the wound and take the medication to prevent any further infection. He grabbed a log that was burning within the fire and glowing bright, he brought the super heated embers up to his wound and through the burning and searing of flesh he was over taken by the pain and howled out like a rabid wolf. Marvin had done the unthinkable and he sawed off his own arm and then suffered through the excruciating pain of self cauterizing. eventually from the shock alone he passed out laying in a pool of his own blood only to be awoken by scavengers looking for a easy meal. Through the fog and pain he managed to fight off the beasts and escaped to his car.

Well we know he made his way to Seattle, though according to journals and witness accounts Marvin had to dig deep and fight hard to make it those last few days, he fought of many native attacks and ambushes, only to arrive in Seattle to find the situation there grim. He went in search of his relatives in the city only to find them dead and gone from the same attacks that took his family back east. The only member of his kin that was still alive was a man by the name of Stanley Rodgers and Tudor Yates. Rodgers a second cousin and Yates being his uncle. These men saw there kin in bad shape and suffering from infection, pain and dealing with the bullet still lodged deep in his shoulder. Marvin was beyond lost in the insanity that ravaged his mind from fever, pain and the emotional ravaging’s of everything he has been through. He was quickly ushered off to shadow doc that his kin knew a Dr. Wilbur Gravel and do to the quick thinking of Gravel and the credits of his kin, Marvin’s life was saved and Vortex was born.

Marvin awoke from surgery with newly implanted cyber and bio-ware, and was told about the war, the natives attacks and the formation of a resistance to take back Seattle from the Native threat. Marvin at this point swore off his Hippocratic oath and took the streets as a new shadow warrior. He fought along side his kin in those early days bringing a swift death to any and all natives and eventually becoming an urban legend only whispered about amongst the shadows. Once the fighting in Seattle subsided he parted ways with his kin and entered the world of the shadowrunner, his former life long gone, his hands covered in blood and the good man he was once before locked away and the new monster emerged.

Vortex took to the streets like a moth to the flame, and even though he had the chrome of a street samurai, he was still a soldier and conducted himself in a professional manner and was classified as a mercenary. The work Vortex did in those early days would forge the city we have today and his actions would never be forgotten by most, he worked along side the likes of Stamps, Forge, Orion, Samael, and his kin now known as the Professor and Ringmaster as well as others. He even formed a team as feared as the Wolf Pack called the Old Guard. Vortex is to blame for the destruction of the native culture centrers, the burning of the NAN embassy and forcing the NAN government out of the city proverb. This man killed more natives than any other soldier during the war, and he took his hatred out even further by forcing the natives within the city to band together and live in urban reservations in order to survive, he is the reason we have the NAN districts of Seattle today. He as well would strike elven districts and was the terror of little Nog, his anger made him a force to be reckoned with and very few people of his age can match his skill in combat. This man truly was his namesake and he was a vortex of death, he lived only to bring pain and suffering to those that destroyed his life.

When Vortex joined the Patriots has been lost in the history books, though the Professor gave him some sort of strange pill that prevented him from suffering the ill effects of age. Vortex left the shadows sometime in the 2040’s though this is where he went to work for the Patriots and continued to strike at the throat of the NAN and recover documents and data files that would eventually expose there Insect involvement and there full intentions to genocide all the non natives on North American soil. Vortex has seen more in his lifetime, then most could ever imagine and this has forged him into the man we know today, the Terror of the North West, The Bringer of Death, or just simply dubbed Grandfather Winter.

Vortex slipped away into the shadows only to emerge through rumour when a Native or Elven neighbourhood would suffer strange ritualistic murders, no one is safe from the wake of Winters cold Embrace and his name would be whispered through the streets, the homes and schools as the possible suspect, just the thought of Vortex lurking around would cause panic and fear amongst both civilian and security personnel. He is so feared that no law enforcement agency will even acknowledge his existence, they won’t take any cases that even have the inkling of his hand being involved, they just down right refuse to accept the existence of the Vortex or Grandfather Winter. This has allowed him to move like a ghost through the night bringing death to those he finds to be guilty.

Well I have found out that Vortex is back in the city, and he is the Patriots Chief Medical Officer and as well there chief biochemical specialist, even the thought of Vortex being inside the Patriots makes me worried for the native forces during this war, even though I am in full support of there cause, Vortex is a very scary man and his vengeance burns strong like the Ringmaster’s. He has opened up shop somewhere in Seattle and I refuse to report where, and is working again as a Doctor by day, but once the sun goes down, the good doctor fades away like the setting sun and what remains is the beast known as Grandfather Winter. Let this be a warning to all those that think this little old man, is an easy mark he has been killing longer then almost anyone on this site and his work is well documented in both the city archives or in the Shadow Beat archives. This is a man that even the Seattle Police Department, Lone Star, Knight Errant and even the damned UCAS Military won’t even acknowledge out of fear. He is not an urban legend, he is not a myth spoken in hushed tones, he is not a bogeyman that lurks the streets on All Hallows Eve, no Vortex is very real, very lethal, and very dangerous. Bio: Well here is another original that I thought had vanished forever into the shadows to never be seen again, I was wrong and Khan is back in Seattle and it seems this hunter is here to stay. Khan is a shape shifter that wears human skin but is all tiger, he has a predators heart and soul, this killer masquerades as a caring selfless being but don’t be fooled he has not one humane bone in his body and he is out for blood. Khan has always held a strong loyalty to this fair land he was born in and as well to his father Irish heritage, yes this is an Irish tiger. Khan has been a member of the Patriots for many years according to my research and he has as well belonged to the Brothers of Ireland the code name for the Irish Republican Army. So you can see where this leads people, Khan is also supporting the HRM and there extinction of the elven people. This hunter has a taste for flesh and he will gladly sin his teeth into either elven or native flesh to support the cause.

Khan is a master of blending in and using his knowledge of high society and the arts to garner influence and contacts for his unlawful cause, a a runner he is one scary bastard, he has no compassion and cares little for the lives he ruins of the people he kills or injures with his operations. He was on many of those early jobs that we now look at as legendary jobs of the past, the jobs that built the city we live in and created a world where the shadow warriors are now hailed as hero’s of the night. Khan used these jobs to further his cause of freeing Ireland and bringing an end to the Native American Nations, he is one of the earliest recorded runners that took the fight direct to the NAN here in Seattle and struck fear in there hearts. He used his natural ability to transform into a tiger to frighten the natives into thinking they angered the spirits and crushing there resolve, thus allowing his team mates to slaughter scared defenceless targets, Khan also worked side by side with many HRM soldiers here in Seattle and is still terrorizing the elven districts today.

Khans physical nature and his abilities in combat make him a beast in battle and his ability to track targets is legendary only to be surpassed by the infamous Raptor. He posses abilities that are long lost and he has been grandfathered so be exempt from Article 16 so his weapon foci is well beyond the scope of legality. Khan is also a master of blending in and making himself seem like he is supposed to be there, he can go from a gala white tie event at the capital to a rowdy party at the biker bar and the people never think twice about him being there. This allows Khan to move without fear through these various cultures and as well rack up a list of contacts and allies that all what to help the great party man they think he is. All he wants out of it, is people he can manipulate and gain favour of for some nefarious plot he has.

Khan might appear to be a good Irishman but you couldn’t be more wrong, this man is a hunter and killer and he uses peoples stereotypical views and prejudices against them and then he goes for the throat and brings down prey that is much bigger then himself, remember when dealing with Khan he only respects the runners of his generation and for everyone else is nothing but prey, he is back in the city and has been scene lurking the streets with other fellow originals and even some very scary European runners that have come to Seattle in the wake of the Deaths Hand war in Europe. People it looks like the Wolf Pack might not be the only team of scary old timers now lurking about, and if Khan is at the helm of this new team the shadows will never be the same.

Bio: Dakota well where to start, well first off this man is from the Black Hills of South Dakota hence where his handle come from very original I know. But thats not why I am reporting on him and making fun of his name could be very lethal so just don’t do it. Dakota is from a region of the UCAS that was ravaged the hardest by the Ghost Dance and the Nights of Rage after, yes his home was not lost to the natives but everything else was taken from Dakota during those early days. He wasn’t always a solider and mercenary, he was simple man who owned and operated a general goods store in the Black Hills, he was a Father and devoted Husband and good Christian. He helped the miners and pipe workers of his community and headed his sons Scout troop. All in all Dakota lived what many would call the perfect life, a life of peace and harmony, he even worked with the local natives in the preservation of the history and like Orion he was accepted by the tribes in the area. Dakota in his early days didn’t have a violent bone in his body and believed strongly in the teachings of the Golden Rule and turn the other check, well you can only push a man so far before he snaps and becomes the man we know today as Dakota.

Dakota came to be after the events that forever changed his life and his outlook on the world, when the Ghost Dance was unleashed Dakota was severely crippled by the magic and the spirits the ravaged the non native people. He was lucky to survive and so was his wife and children, Dakota was bed ridden do to his injuries and the Doctors didn’t know how to help since magic was new and this was beyond their scope of knowledge. As Dakota was healing in his bed, he was not prepared for what happened next, the once native friends of his, who looked up to Dakota forcibly entered his home and took him and his family hostage. They proceeded to rape his wife in front of him, they as well beheaded his eldest son and gutted his youngest like he was a deer, and they began to rape his daughter and Dakota was powerless to act. He was still suffering the ill affects of the Ghost Dance, unarmed and out numbered. He cried out for them to stop and he even tried to strike at the native’s but he was to week and was quickly subdued. He was forced to watch as the natives sliced the throats of his wife and daughter and then scalp them along with his sons. At this point Dakota was overtaken with grief and was just praying for the good lord to bring an end to this horror and grant them access to the kingdom of Heaven. Sadly that was not the case and Dakota was about to feel the full wrath if the natives on that day when the turned to him and removed there ski masks and Dakota got to see for the first time these where his friends and the youngest was one of his scouts who he considered a son and would tutor and let him work at his store for some spare credits and food. This young native drew a pistol looked Dakota in the eyes and shot him three times in the chest, Dakota fell backwards his hands still bound behind his back and his feet still bound. The pain that coursed through Dakota was great as the world became cold and black.

Well this is where it gets weird, Dakota for all known reasons should be dead and he is not, the story goes that after the darkness consumed him he eventually awoke laying in a pool of his own blood with the bodies of his family around him and his home ransacked and with him still bound. He somehow managed to escape his binds and as he tried to stand he body coursed with pain and he collapsed again. After three attempts Dakota was able to get to his feet and survey the scene, he heard fighting in the streets and knew that the only safe way would be going out the back and using the wilds of South Dakota to hide, but first he couldn’t leave his beloved and his children exposed and laying like that. He mustered up his strength and dug them graves let it be shallow ones but still graves non they less. He buried each one of his family and said a prayer for there souls, once he went back into the house and he started to clean himself up, he saw the three bullet scars on his chest and he saw the whole scene replay in his mind as he was washing his face, this is according to all accounts when Dakota snapped and the nice good conservative Christian husband and father died and the man we now know as Dakota was born.

He managed to gather up a few personal affects that where left, some cloths and his wood axe and shotgun and headed out into the world a very changed man, the look in his eyes tells the story and he is a man on a mission and that mission is blood, Dakota from that point cares nothing for his own safety and has taken his rage out on any native that he has come across. But in those early days he was just fighting local natives and helping others who where fighting for there sheer survival and trying to keep some resemblance of his home there. The locals of this small town that isn’t even on the map, where able to hold off the native attacks for months, though they took many casualties these men maintained and dug in deep with only there spirit and dedication to keep them going. Eventually the native forces withdrew and for this small victory was only a glimpse into the future and Dakota didn’t what his family to have died in vain and so he left the town behind and eventually joined up with a fledgling mercenary unit called the Freedom Patriots and after telling his story to the groups commander Colonial, the Patriots took him in as a brother and eventually put him to work.

Dakota was a lucky one and his region and home where spared and stayed UCAS but the Sioux Nation was on there boarder and the NAN forces would not relent claiming that the Black Hills were sacred and should be there’s. Dakota asked Colonial if he could take a small band of soldiers and keep applying the pressure on the Sioux boarder, to let those red bastards now that they will never relent and the blood price must be paid. Colonial agreed and Dakota was put in charge of small band of mercenaries called The Black Hill Marauders and has brought vigilante justice to the people of the Sioux Nation. This unit is still active today and Dakota is still in command of these men, some are the same from those early days but age and injury have caused a rotation in most of the Marauders numbers. Scary thing is Dakota looks as if he hasn’t aged one bit and he is still as dangerous as he was prior if not more now, since this man basically learned combat in a trial by fire and only receiving formal training once he joined the Patriots.

Dakota’s cause is just, he saw first hand the horrors of those days and felt the wrath of there forces and was forced to do the one thing any parent dreads and that is bury his own children, he was forced to sit helplessly by and watch as his wife and daughter were both violated and scalped and then learn that a child he helped care for, and raise was involved and attempt to murder him and for points Dakota was killed on that day. He emerged from the fires a changed man and I don’t blame him one bit. Its people lie Forge, Orion and Dakota that shed some light on what actually happened during those days. We have been lied to by our teachers, by our parents and by our own government as to the events that accord during the nights of blood and ghost dance. It turns out that the nights of blood where not just a few days but actually lasted months, turns out that these attack happened in areas that didn’t even become NAN do to the treaty. I have recently been looking into the history and doing the research of the events of those days since I was lied to in school, and it seems that unless you know exactly where to look you can’t find anything more then the sterilized accounts. There has to be more to this story and I do hope that before I am killed by Hound I can get to the bottom of this story and reveal the truth to the masses. Please I ask if Hound can relent please for I am know convinced and I am on your side. I need to report the truth and let the people know the truth.

Dakota I support your cause and please if you see this, I mean now disrespect and what to sit down with you, Forge, and Orion and officially document your accounts of those days, same goes for any runner of the SOTC, Patriots or other agencies that has a story to tell about those days that have been sanitized. I am being honest and sincere here, but first I need to know that my safety is not in jeopardy and the bounty on me is lifted. Or at least I granted sanctuary, I am willing to make a trade, I have valuable intelligence on Errol and I am willing to trade everything I have on him for my safety and the bounty lifted.

Bio: Forge is a very angry and frustrated man, his anger stems from the dark days that befell all of us back in the early part of the this century. Forge once served proudly as a officer in the US Army and fought to defend are very nation from the terrorist threats overseas. He dedicated his entire life to serving and protecting liberty, he comes from a long line of veterans and soldiers. Forge figured he had everything planned and his life was heading in the right direction, he had a beautiful wife, lovely children and even grandchildren. He had just finished paying off his home and was planing for his retirement in Arizona, well it seems for this Colonel that the universe had other plans. He was just finishing the paperwork in his office at Fort Huachuca and had just got off the phone with his beloved Susan. He was planning on heading home to discuss his future and the see his newly born grandson, well unfortunately for Forge everything was going to change in a moment as a nefarious plan was being unleashed from deep within the nations heartland. As Forge finished up and was preparing to leave for the evening the Natives unleashed there Great Ghost Dance upon the country and in a flash of magical and spiritual energy hundreds of thousands of Americans died in the horrific flames of the assault. Forge himself barely survived the attack, when he regained consciousness he was in the medical ward. In the coming days he awaited orders to bring military action against the offenders who he thought were just radical Islamic terrorists, when he was told that it was a magical assault from the Natives he was speechless and then he received the most troubling news. He was told that the Army and all other branches would stand down and this will be handed diplomatically, he was also ordered to remain on the base and observe from closed circuit television and satellite feeds. Forge was forced to sit and watch as the nation he loved with every ounce of his being was being torn a sunder. During this time he was also unable to reach his family and he began to fear the worse as he watched as the Native force took to the streets and began to rape and murder non native civilians.

Forge requested authorization at that point to engage the tyrants and attempt to rescue the defenceless citizens and again he was ordered to stand down, by Presidential orders. Forge was completely sickened by this and yet he was powerless to do anything, he feared for his family but he was trapped on the base and trapped in a contract that could get him killed or arrested if he attempted to escape. Forge feeling powerless and scared for his family and for his nation eventually did the only thing he could do and that was submit his papers to retire and walked out of the base no longer a solider but now a scared American. As he drove to his home he fears where realised as he so the burned out rumble that was his house as he manoeuvred through the rumble and debris he found the bodies of what he could assume was his wife and children and his newborn grandson, badly burned and decapitated. This was the final straw for Forge, something snapped in his mind and he left the shell of his home avoiding Native patrols and made his way to the back yard. He wiped away soil and rocks to expose an underground bunker working the rusted lock he opened the tomb and descended into the darkness to gather his stockpile of weapons, ammo and armour.

Forge at this point had lost everything he held dear in the world and was about to loose his beloved America in the coming days to the Treaty of Denver and coming wars of Aztlan and the Civil War. He took his supplies and outfitted himself as a weapon of war, if the America he loved was dead, then he would keep the American spirit alive and this solider for liberty and democracy, would become a solider of fortune hunting the tyrants that destroyed his life, his family and his honour. This is when he took the name Forge from Valley Forge and took to the streets to join the other mercenaries who were fighting for there freedom and fighting to save the innocent. For the first time in a long time Forge felt lie his life again had purpose and his skills where being put to the test, the natives soldiers fought hard but the determination of a American can never be crushed. Forge was fighting for revenge, for justice and for his nation. Eventually he was brought into a an actual Mercenary Guild and given legitimate missions against the native oppressors. He saw that his government might have been powerless to make a legitimate call to war, but they were using soldiers of fortune to do there dirty work. This mattered little to Forge, all he cared about was sending natives to there promised land and striking a blow for Lady Liberty and America.

By the time the Treaty was signed and the Native American Nations was officially in place, Forge was deeply entrenched in the war and he had no intention of ever giving up and just falling in line. Though his old body and his injuries were beginning to take it’s toll on him. Forge would rather die in battle then give up the fight, that was till he met Colonial and for some reason he was given a strange serum and well Forge is still here and still in tip top shape, it appears Colonial saw something special in this unrelenting old warrior and gifted him with a form of longevity. Forge’s actual age is unknown but this man has been fighting for his entire existence, this man is a total mercenary and became awakened during the ravages of the Ghost Dance. His power level is unknown, though his skills in combat are feared by anyone who has ever dared face Forge in battle. He has been a Patriot since those early days and vengeance and patriotism drive this man each and ever day. All he has left of his former life are the memories and his wife’s locket that holds there wedding photo and there children’s photograph, this grandfather never got to see his grandson alive and the only memory he has is the torched body he laid to rest so many years ago,

Forge is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield and his skills as an officer have lead him to greatness within the Mercenary world and as well the realm of the shadowrunner. He might not have received credit for any major operation here in Seattle, but history doesn’t lie and Forge was here and was fighting against the Natives with fellow mercenary’s Ringmaster, Striker and Ducky. He was also involved in many of the same operations the Ringmaster was in. Forge figured out a long time ago that the Natives where playing with Insects and Toxics and blaming it on the white man to cover there tracks, well people Forge has just released a copy of his war journals to the media via Snoopy. From what I have read, I am dumbfounded and it appears Forge has hammered in the final nail in the NAN’s coffin. This is one Patriot I can get behind, for his actions are just, he is a man with honour and he is a true solider and holds true to the old American values of Freedom, Independence, Democracy and the right live free of injustice, Forge I salute you and wish you the best, God Bless America!

Albert Armstrong (Orion)

Bio: Orion well this man is one of those older men that never truly grew up, he is the fun one at the parties and the man that every child loves but should truly fear. For Orion is no Peter Pan but this man is Captain Hook in disguise, Orion is a master hunter and lurks within the shadows seeking a very bloody revenge for the murder of his family at the natives hands. He is like most of the Patriots, old wounds never closed and for him the nights of blood are all still to real. Orion used to work in Denver Colorado before the Ghost Dance as a historian for the Natural History Museum and had a loving wife and children. He was as well a teacher at the local Public School teaching American History and he specialised in Native American history and preached equality between the races. With his child like demeanour and caring disposition Orion was able to reach people who would never fully understand, He was a pillar of his community and well liked by all, Orion was very active with in his children’s life, teaching them to respect the land and respect nature. He lived outside of the city and had a small plot of land that he farmed, hunted and fished on, Orion was very active in the protection of the planet and the preservation of our heritage and as well teaching the heritage and history of the Native American people.

That’s why Orion was completely taken aback and off guard when the Ghost Dance and Nights of Blood happened, he was friends with the local natives and even welcomed into there sacred places and was often involved in many of there ceremonies. Orion was also given the honorary tribal name of White Arrow, for his skills with the bow and hunting. Little did he know that as they were welcoming him onto there land they where plotting to seek a very bloody revenge for the sins of the past. When the natives unleashed there magical assault, Denver was hit the hardest and Orion watched in horror as everyone he knew fell dead, his research allowed him to know exactly what had accord and this made him sick. He had spent his life teaching peace, and unity between the tribes and the non natives.

Orion was left with the task of trying to survive in the now ravaged lands of Colorado, he buried his family and bunkered down for word from the government on what to do. Nothing came and Orion was forced to fend for himself, when the Native forces began there onslaughts his farm was there first stop and they went after Orion with everything they had. This old teacher and curator was no match for the highly trained and skilled native soldiers and eventually Orion was taken down in battle from an arrow, it lodged itself in his chest and Orion felt his life fading as the natives just kicked dirt on him and called him the White Devil.

One would think thats where the story ends, but for Orion that was just the beginning, after the natives left he found himself buried in a shallow grave and struggling for air, as his blood was beginning to flow cold and he could feel the cold embrace of death upon him. This is where he meet Colonial and others of the Patriots, he was lifted of the ground and placed on a stretcher and given a strange serum from a man they referred to as the Prophet. Orion could feel the warmth of the solution restoring life back into him and chasing away the cold embrace of death, he was happy to see these men, but yet he was confused as to why they were there and how they had found him. Colonel just told him in do time my friend, in do time, but for now rest and all will be explained. Orion claims this was his rebirth and he was no longer going to preach peace, since history has failed and two wrongs do not make a right.

He at this point took his skills of hunting and being a naturalist to the fight against the tyrants he once worked side by side with. Knowing where sacred sites where he was able to lead many of the mercenaries directly into the heart of the beast and it was Orion who slew the first of the Native Chiefs, his arrow landed in the war chiefs neck and as he died slowly he watched as the American mercenaries ransacked there site. The last thing the dying Chief saw before death was Orion standing before him and ripping the arrow out of his neck. This is where Orion became the Hunter we all known now, he swore vengeance on that day and his Peter Pan was killed and replaced with cold calculating Captain Hook. Some say that the Orion still has that kindness inside him and at times he has moments, but from what I have read Orion is all hunter.

He has taken his many years of study into native cultures and is using it against them, this man thinks like they do, hunts like they do and even scalps like them. He is the bane to the NAN since he knows there language and even there secret language, he knows where all there sacred sites are and even that according to Orion they are incapable of doing another Ghost Dance and North American leaders fell for the shell game. He claims the Ghost Dance was only able to be performed the one time under a specific set of conditions, grant you nobody outside of the Patriots is listening. I feel that this is why the natives made a beeline for Orion, if they killed him there secrets would be safe. Unlucky for the NAN is he survived and even more unlucky for them his research survived as well.

I might not agree with Orion’s tactics and lacklustre care for life, as he see’s all natives as guilty now and he has long since backed away from his peace and unity talks. He is now all about action and seeking a very bloody payback, Orion now more then ever before we need you to put the weapons down and try to talk some sense into both sides. War will only destroy everything and cause some tribes to be rendered extinct, I know you wouldn’t want your lives work to be in vain or are you to far gone and lost in the darkness of your anger.
